  1. Don't forget your Horlicks mind...
  2. Made my feelings perfectly clear. Yes I do. Now get your jim-jams on.
  3. Yep. 100%. Well done. You are brilliant evidence of the kind of fan that deserves the likes of Souness and Roeder. Why, bearing in mind the actual facts of achievement, would you rather have Fat Heed? Given a straight choice between Allardyce and SGE for NUFC right now - I'd choose Allardyce every time. The club needs an entire overhaul and dragged into the 21st century. I think Allardyce can do this and SGE can't. I may be right or I may be wrong. If you think SGE would be a better choice - fine. That's up to you. My money's on the big man. Don't like it? Tough s***. fair point, everyones entitled to there opinions, even if the are wrong, which yours are!! My overall opinion is that i think SA might well do a good jo,and as a nufc fan ill stand by him, just like i stood by roeder and souness, but i m honestly disheartend by the fact the club has already tripped up at the first hurdle by not showing the type of ambitions this club deserves and lookin for the right appointment, just like liverpool did, just lk arsenal did. That's the thing though. You won't give him a chance or get behind him 100% because deep down you want someone else in charge. No, i'm not 100% behind him, because i don't think he's good enough/the right person. Fair enough. You're entitled to your opinion and I'm sure there will be 1000's who agree with you. Personally, I think he's exactly what we need. Guess we'll find out in due time. Yes, we will. SA should be judged on certain things fron the start of his tenure, and throughout. If he is the man we get, i'll support him as lomng as he proves his intent from the start. Final question before i go then....do yu think nufc has shown any decent ambition by appionting a man whos only got a top half team into europe once, a week before our manger resigns/sacked??? Yes. Goodnight.

So far, SA fans seem to duck the question,as if in admission that he won't actually do anything quantifiable. Winning more points in the league each season. Losing fewer games and conceding fewer goals. More points away from home. There's 4. Cups are difficult to judge due to the pure randomness of the opposition you may or may not face. Although a canny run in either domestic cup would be nice like... SA - the ideal man for conceding fewer goals!!!!!  !!!11111 Let's wait and see eh?

There will always be that thought in the back of your mind that you never wanted him to get the job and wouldn't mind seeing him replaced. Hand on heart I was the same with Souness. Never wanted him to start with but gave him the chance to prove me wrong. He couldn't and I ended up hating the bloke. It's only natural.

  10. are you baiting us??? What doesn't impress you?? No. Nearly all of it tbh. And what DOES impress you about SA's career?? managed to get a club with smaller resources to be regular top halfers using tactical nouse and clever managemnet. not my first choice (wenger) but a very good realistic choice and we are the experiment to see if allardyce is a long ball merchant or get the best from your squad however merchant. This. (Only written when sober. )
  11. are you baiting us??? What doesn't impress you?? No. Nearly all of it tbh. lol nuff said, that is an embarrassing comment to make. The Swedish ad Portugese leagues are akin to the Scottish leagues imo. Even Souness was successful up there.. He bought won the Italian league which is canny I suppose...A few Italian Cups....meh... Hardly scintillating is it?
  12. Maybe he was just on the loo? To be honest, Sam stated he was going on a long break, but only to find out he's going to be the new manager for Newcastle 2 weeks later. Phil has every right to be pissed off with the situation. Agree with that like. Imagine Shepherd in this situation... >

  14. What seriously impresses you in that career spanning nearly 30 years?
  15. KFC. kilmarnock football club ? Kentucky Fried Chicken? Fucks sake man...
  16. I'd like us to win as many games as possible. Don't care how we win them. I'm not kidding myself, it'll take a few years to sort this club out but if he puts things in place - success in the League will follow. While we're waiting, a Cup win would be much appreciated. Would you rather us play pretty football, finishing 5th and winning nowt? f*** that - want to celebrate something. that is shockingly blingsighted, of course i would prefer the cosistent top 5 with great football. Do you not see how important it is to estabilish the club for the future. Making this club more attractive to any top class manager is my priority, one who would take usto that next step on wininng that important trophy. But to say you'd prfer crap football with mid table prosperity is absurd at which point are we realising our potential??? shocking Erm, aye! I'd prefer crap, effective winning football and I've already said if he gets it right, we'll finish high enough in the League. All I'm saying is - I wouldn't mind seeing us pick up a trophy in the next few years. We played some of the best football in Europe for a few years under Keegan without winning a thing. And what has Fat Heed won? Exactly the same as we have. So why would he do better here? He's worked miracles without spending any serious money. Give him £10m a year to buy who he wants as well as bringing in his bargains on Bosmans and loans and let's see what happens. He's established Bolton, fucking Bolton, into the top 8. UEFA Cup, a Cup final and takes points from Chelsea and Arsenal hand over fist. I think he'll do better like.

Would you rather us play pretty football, finishing 5th and winning nowt? f*** that - want to celebrate something. may take a few years to get to champs league,5th should be a realistic target for next season. Wonder what the odds are on us finishing 5th? I'm all for setting high targets but it'll take a few years to correct things and start making the progress we should be making. Get things right off the field and we'll get things right on the field. My only concern with people making 5th a target is that if we finish, say, 7th - some people will say it's a poor season and we've underachieved. i've voted for finishing in a uefa place, and looking above us i think 5th is a realsitic target That's fair enough. I just hope he's given the time to put things right and not hounded out because he doesn't finish 5th. Because some people will call for his head this time next year due to unrealistic expectations.

  23. For us, Chelsea or both?
