  1. It could be worse. We could be getting spanked off Helsingborgs.
  2. Lets hope he whacks it up to 11. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-LMsjtJNYeqw/TmpGoJ0wstI/AAAAAAAAACk/OiTQd8KXKBs/s1600/11.jpg
  3. I don't think it's being too dramatic to say the club have made an arse of this Even if we do get him it's dragged on for far, far too long.
  4. I'm more annoyed we're coming to the close of preseason with not one new face in the first team squad. Whoever comes in now is probably going to spend the first few months of the season sitting on the bench/being prepped for first team football much like Santon was.
  5. The only problem with our current transfer policy is that we put a lot of faith in the other side being willing/needing to sell. Lille don't want or need to sell Debuchy, so we're not going to pull off a huge coup. Similar happened last summer with Maiga. We fucked on for ages expecting them to role over and come the last day of the transfer window we realised they weren't playing ball we started throwing silly bids in for people like Ruiz.
  6. It's not just West Ham fans. Over the past few weeks he's been called out very publicly on Twitter by officials from Everton and WBA for peddling utter shite. He's a fucking mongol.
  7. Aye you have to get rid of Arty Ziff, so some other mug employs him, and forthwith, you then have someone daft enough to buy all of the shite he's bought for your club. That's the amazing thing. It's fucking ace. He's going to have at least one of James Collins and Stephen Warnock, and very possibly both of them. Ask any Villa fan you like, there's not one of us who wants to see that toxic fucking defence again, and those two were amongst the worst bits of it. Already rumours about the execrable Alan Hutton going to Stoke. Wasn't even taken to our US tour. Honestly, I'm so happy recently. Don't say that, you're giving me a hard on.
  8. Luke Edwards is one of the worst football journalists out there and he comes across as an absolute cunt to boot. I don't think he's ever broken an exclusive in his life and he seem to be riddled with bitterness about something. Did someone shit on his desk and plant an NUFC flag in it when he left the Journal? This time he's probably got a hair up his arse that Ryder got an interview with Ba and he's left having the piss taken out of him on Twitter because he's linking the remains of Stanley Matthews with Sunderland.
  9. Celtic were up to the same thing as were a few other clubs in England (Arsenal were one, IIRC) but they all cut deals and paid their tax back in full. Rangers had been at it for so long and it was so entrenched in the way the club was ran that they couldn't afford to pay what HMRC claimed was owed to them in tax so they challenged it (hence the big tax case).
  10. Rangers fans have conducted themselves very well throughout this entire saga. They're the only group involved who have said they should take their medicine and start in Division Three. I have sympathy with them, but at the end of the day it's not just that their previous owners have been doing something illegal. The current situation has arisen because they've simply accrued a massive tax bill and are unable to pay it resulting in liquidation. Rulings haven't even been made on the legality of the EBTs and the big tax case. Green is arguing that newco Rangers shouldn't have to suffer further punishment because of the actions of the previous owners which is an understandable position until you realise he's quite happy to claim the history of the old club, including the titles that have been won when they were effectively financially doping.
  11. I bow to your greater knowledge on the subject. To an outsider, it just seemed both were similar. Just baffled by the never ending partying over their demise. Can't abide them, as I said just baffled at the non-stop partying over it You probably should've read up on it before you came in here and started throwing a hissy over a club you apparently can't abide The only comparable case was Livingston, who were liquidated and relegated to D3 a few years ago so there is a precedent for what is happening to Rangers.
  12. Gateshead were voted out of the league by the other clubs. A fairly standard event back then. HMRC certainly wouldn't agree that football clubs are badly treated. Most ordinary companies are much, much better run than your average football clubs.
  13. You can't compare Rangers and Dundee, because Dundee actually agreed a CVA with their creditors. The Dundee FC of 2012 are the same club that have been around since 1893. The Rangers that will play in Division Three next season are not the same club that finished the 2011-12 season.
  14. So he's going to join us for £13 million on the last day of the transfer window then?
  15. Likewise. I get genuinely irate when people have a go at him nowadays. He's basically reinvented himself as a target man and a good one at that, although his hand has been forced by his troublesome hip.
  16. Nice to see Kevin Bridges doing a bit of refereeing.
  17. Newcastle. The board name is a bit of a give away.
  18. Fuck sake, I've just closed the window by mistake.
  19. Looks like the new kit. EDIT - It's the spikey one. Looks fairly smart on everyone but Sammy, who it doesn't fit properly
  20. This is fucking amazing btw. Jormans chuntering on about sausages.
