This fucking club Rafa waved at the corner after the first chant of "We want you to stay" if that's in any way relevant. I joined in on the "2-0 to the Championship" stuff I'm afraid, yolo.

Obviously been paying attention for the last 37 games
-
Warnock would finally make me cancel my season ticket.
-
They can save the banner and the monument lights for next year to reuse if they finish 19th. If finishing one place above Newcastle is the highlight of their footballing life for any mackem under the age of 40, finishing a minimum of two places above us is open-top bus parade territory.
-
Can't even remember what my season ticket deal is, have they started taking next year's out already?
-
Still not sure if I'll bother turning up for this.
-
We'd better fucking not win now like. Go down by one point, get annoyed by that offside Aguero goal all over again.
-
Quick paraphrase of what they quoted him saying on SSN "Obviously I'm disappointed to be relegated because we can't achieve what we wanted to achieve. We'll have more meetings with regards to my own future as manager at the club. The things that have been said have been positive and we'll continue to have meetings. I want the same as the fans, a successful & strong team, and to get promoted to the PL as soon as possible."

After we've spent the last few days amazed at how papers are finally stating the absolutely bleeding obvious, pointlessly repeating the same truths we've known for years, when we thought there's no easier article you can write about what's wrong at NUFC, then we get... what?! If there's one thing Ashley gives a square root of zero fucks about, it's how excited fans are about a new signing and how many shirts they'll buy. Has he not followed English football for 10 years, been asked for comment, googled "newcastle relegation" and decided Michael Owen is responsible for going down? Or has he seen a load of lads trying to shift their Thauvin shirts on eBay? No we don't Players who don't meet expectations sit around unsellable on the bench, go out on loan or play anyway because we have nobody else that can even half fill a position on the pitch they once had a go at when they were 17. We need the opposite of stability, we need to chuck 90% of the club in the bin and start again. This guy

Surprised by the comments on the official Premier League page Facebook post about our demise... https://www.facebook.com/premierleague/posts/1336568049700940

Based on information or feelings?

Well we had this snazzy number last time we were in the championship, so wonder what's in store this year http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/newcastle-united/5610508/Newcastle-unveil-awful-yellow-away-kit.html

Hiring Rafa would have been a huge statement of intent if it was, "Hey, we can really kick on from midtable and challenge for something" but instead it was "Oh shit, we're actually going down, quick! Panic! Throw everything at it!"
-
Wow, just imagine, the very top flight! The Premier League lads, picture it! Also this Sets out one question and answers another. "Did you make the wrong decision?" "I try and make the right decisions"

They've both been pretty graceful about various things in the past. They've been a better class of mackem than we've had in the past, although it's easier to be magnanimous when you're beating us 6 times in a row and relegating us than when you're going down with record point totals and getting beat 5-1.
-
Spelled incorrectly? Would sum it up. Don't tell them if they've not paid yet.
-
I mean on one hand, there's not better way of making a club your own than the kind of total clear out relegation brings. My worry is if he starts making demands about how much freedom or funds he gets our lot will go "Nar, don't need a manager who'll be awkward and want players for the team instead of as a spin on the sell-on gambler, certainly ain't payin' 'im that much neither, came up last time with that Irish geezer we found in the locker room and he was practically free."

Two wins that sent us down http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/05/12/newcastle-united-relegated-key-moments-that-resulted-in-the-drop/

My taxi driver this morning was a mackem (of course) and reckoned it was a sellout last night and all the empty seats must have been season ticket holders on their holidays
-
Said in the interview before we last nearly went down "From now on we'll be making our own luck." Well, he got that right.
-
What was the pitch invader about then? Didn't show him on TV, he got a cheer so I presume he was exposing a massive "We sent the Mags down" commemorative tattoo.
-
Marlon Harewood in Inspector Gadget's coat.
-
What a load of absolute unmitigated fucking shite.
-
Went all the way down there once on a coach, which took 6 hours, and the match was fucking cancelled because it rained and got into the floodlights.

Everton and Watford are in free fall. Sunderland might lose both their games just so it's a final kick in the cunt when we can't beat Spurs anyway.
