http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2015/05/29/why-sunderland-should-make-sean-dyche-their-next-manager/ Ginger Mourinho Just like Colback is the Ginger Pirlo.

Regardless of if he ends up having the talent to achieve anything, I think in terms of intent he'd have passion and drive as a young hungry manager out to prove himself, and wouldn't just be happy going through the motions and doing it as a 9-5. Which would probably mean as soon as he started asking questions about the club's aims and ambitions he'd tell them to fuck off.

You know exactly what you'd get with McClaren and it's not particularly interesting. Vieira could be better, he could be worse, but on that alone I'd prefer him. I just want to feel something. Of course ideally we'd get someone who was both proven and has the potential to surprise us. But Charnley is in charge of it.

Had to fight through this horrible bunch on my way back from work. Half of them were absolutely mortal, could barely stand up, staggering into traffic etc. Lots of horrible pissed lasses in shirts of teams I didn't recognise for a team that play a sport I don't care about slurring "Oooh, ahh, you're shit!" at the bus I was on. Was basically the worst bits of football fans but with far more foam hands and selfie sticks.

If' it's Carver, McClaren or Vieira, I'd go for Vieira. Add Laudrup and I'd probably prefer him.

Not worthy of a thread - 2018 FIFA World Cup edition
BlueStar replied to OzzieMandias's topic in Football
It's starting to look like the bidding process for these might have been dodgy. -
Let's go FIFA! Let's go FIFA! Hail Hydr- uh Let's go FIFA!

Sure the sponsors love seeing stuff like this http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/people-are-criticising-fifa-world-cup-sponsors-with-corrupt-corporate-logos-10280042.html

Has it always been the case you lose all loyalty points if you don't renew your season ticket for a season, or is that an Ashley addition? Considering I've build up over 100 points watching shit I'd be fucked off if we actually get to a final in the next few decades and I can't get a ticket because they finally broke me back in in 2015 and it reset to zero.

Sepp Blatter is going to go from claiming to be in best of health when running for re-election to being wheeled into courtrooms with an oxygen tank, I guarantee.

Had 80 names on it that, Man. Have to pare it down a bit.

Gonna be a very shortlist I imagine. Probably currently reads 1. John 2.
-
"Lee Charnley to draw up head coach shortlist after being handed full control of search" Shortlist, that's a canny idea. Wonder how long it took him to come up with that one.
-
Just enter a secondary team. Instead of USA, enter USB. May take a few attempts, but you'll get in in the end. This was better in my head.

The reason he's still here in the first place is that we don't bother with a back-up plan. We hadn't even considered the possibility Pardew would leave, we probably didn't plan for what we'd do if Carver was this disastrous and by now we probably can't be bothered to throw something together.
-
Still hold flickering hope of Ketsbia, would rather take a punt on him than any of the usual sloppy seconds, thirds and fourths on the Premier League merry-go-round of mediocrity.
-
The worry is that Charnley and Ashley don't really know what they're looking at when they're watching a game. He could quite easily convince them that results have been shit because the squad is crippled with underinvestment - which it is. Mike and Lee can't look at these games and realise that Perez should be starting or that Ryan Taylor shouldn't be in midfield, that it's possible to get more - or less - out of players of any level of skill depending on how they're utilised and managed. They just see blokes running around, the ball pinging around the field and eventually ending up in one goal or the other based on who has the better players and the most luck. Investment might end up being worse than no investment if that money is given to Carver to buy players he then ruins, demoralises and doesn't get the best out of, meaning that whoever comes in next has to put up with tighter purse strings.

what sort of fucking childhood did you have? Traumatic

Like when you pretend to push someone in a lake or out a window as a kid and then pull them back "Tell yer mam I saved your life! '

The idea of us winning stuff is so laughable it's easy to miss what's wrong with that statement if taken seriously. If Ashley does a massive face turn and starts winning us trophies or getting us in the Champions League, we wouldn't want him to sell. We don't hate him because he's fat or because he's a cockney, we hate him because he's a failure.

It's OK lads http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/north-east-news/uri-geller-bids-save-newcastle-9310484

The hope is we stay up, Ashley realsies after one relegation and two near misses he's incapable of keeping the team in the league and needs to sell while we're a premier league outfit. However, that relies on Ashley both realising and admitting he's fucked up and isn't good enough. So, unlikely.

Npw Or off to the mackems? Assuming Dick is still considered just interim.
