Basically the opposite of Man City, where if they need some extra transfer funds Etihad can just buy one advertising hoarding for £30m.
-
It's so obvious is barely merits saying, but what utter bollocks. Bury have individuals sponsoring players just to have their names in the programme all season. Companies sponsor a player's socks. And we can't find anyone willing to pay any money to have their logo in the background of a Premier League game against Man United, broadcast all over the world, live, on highlights and photographed in every paper? They're just placeholders, just there to fill a gap, but they're regularly worked on and changed to advertise in French and plug their new European operations or whatever? What a load of shit. Next time someone says Ashley doesn't take money out of the club, think of all the advertising revenue we've lost through this scam, and how much healthier his Sports Direct account is from not needing to outlay a penny to get this level of exposure.

The melodrama of Man U fans on the internet. The sense of entitlement that they shouldn't have to watch sub-standard performances for even a quarter of a season of their entire football following life. My.

Someone posted it on Reddit as a reaction gif and I had to dig out Sexy Mick. Flipped the bird one so it looked in the same direction

So they've gone straight from "We need someone who'll knock the players into shape and not take any of their shit" to "Let the players decide who manages them"?

To be fair, it's a bit stupid to sack Di Canio after 13 games of doing exactly what Di Canio does.

Liverpool managing director Ian Ayre has admitted Luis Suarez's racist abuse and biting incidents have damaged the Premier League club's brand. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11661/8942403/

Ah, yes, that was it. In the same email he was kicking of about paper clackers being left on the seats.

Seems like the five year plan was going really well last season, we pretty much matched them exactly Newcastle United have five-year plan to emulate Aston Villa

He's just gone up in my estimation. Just spent that last 20 minutes reading articles about why Brighton and Crystal Palace absolutely fucking hate each other in spite of being like 50 miles apart and hardly ever playing each other, funny what the internet does to you.

Obscure players past and present you really dislike

I like the way his name has already been given the "Ryin Goggs" treatment. -

Away at Villa Park he was being a little shit all game, he got subbed (presumably to prevent him getting a second yellow) and was treated to a chorus of "You're just a little fucking twat" from our lot. As soon as he heard it he fucking exploded and started shouting and gesturing to our end, the the sound of delighted ironic cheers. And yeah, he had a very punchable face. Reminded me of a zombie Robbie Williams mini-me. -
Main things of note I remember of him is backing Suarez to the hilt over the Evra incident and calling Evra a 'cry baby', backing him again when he bit Ivanovic and being sacked by BHA live on BBC Three with an implication it was because he was somehow involved in an incident where someone took a shit on the floor of the Palace dressing room. That aside, I think he's one of the better options they could end up with out of the available candidates.

I think Poyet, Di Matteo or Zola would be worth a punt for them and have a fair chance of turning it around. Can't see any of the other names mentioned ending in anything else but disaster, or mediocrity at best.
-
At least Koro Toe-re would have fit.
-
Acted like a dictator Hope he goes into full meltdown slagging off the board, players, club, fans and city. Send the twat with the tattoo running to Lase-Erase.

That's going to be a trivia question a few years down the line, surely that a first?

When you defiancé someone it's like a divorce, but before you're married. Duh.

Just speculation I reckon, based on the fact he had a dressing room bust up and was quickly shown the door afterwards.
