We didn't even put Hart in a position where he could make a mistake. If he'd tied his shoe laces together by accident we couldn't have caused him too many problems from our own box.
-
Which three teams are we hoping to finish above this season?
-
Cardiff have just... Wait, we can't talk about that.
-
This is starting to get rather boring. Apologies, I'll check with Dave next time I post to make sure he's not typing something similar that's he's going to post 2.5 seconds before me.

Last season we didn't say it was "impossible to compete" against those teams before kick off and then we didn't play like we believed it was impossible to compete or even play a game of football against them.
-
What the fuck are Cardiff playing at? Don't they know they can't compete with Man City's squad? It's impossible. It's like their manager's sent them out beleiving if they play a blinder they can get something. What a display of disrespect. Makes me sick.

http://i.imgur.com/ctQuxSR.png Data source: Soccerbase says % but actualy its the actual numbers- still not great Alan- must do better. The size of the coloured bars relate to the percentage (on the left), the numbers show what the percentage equals to in games. Of course the worrying thing is how many of those wins came in what now seems like the distant past. His current form is much more troubling than his record over 100 games.

If he's refused to play and we're letting him get away with it, it's a fucking disgrace. If we're not playing one of our most creative players and potentially dropping points in the process out of fear of jepordising selling him off, it's a fucking discrace. If we're doing the latter, while telling the media it's the former, it's a double fucking disgrace.

So did Hicks and Gillett, they were still forced out by fan pressure.

We could have had Guile, Ken, Blanka and Chun Li and it wouldn't have made a difference. -
The Official Alan Pardew Excuses Thread

Well considering the chaos those long free kicks caused in our box you can't blame them for doing it again. -
You saw four last week, stop being greedy.
-
Shola getting credit for putting the ball out for the injury when it was really just his first touch.
-
Shola, jumping 3 inches off the ground, flapping like a windsock, failing to get the ball and fouling his man. Just what we need on the end of a ball.
-
These gates symbolise the road to nowhere.
-
Couldn't get this one off work, first home match I've missed in a while. Can't imagine I'm going to regret it too much.
-
Fuck it, no changes this week. I'll bench Anelka and use my two free transfers next week to get him out.
-
HERM games you mean? Only going off this OptaJoe @OptaJoe 1h 3 - Newcastle have lost three Premier League games in a row. They’ve never lost four in a row in the competition. Unwanted.

this, is there honestly still anyone on here who doesn't believe he deserves the sack based purely on his performance over the last year? i know brett is one but is there anyone else? would love to see a poll like I can think of 3 who? inochi, ian w, brett? i don't think ian w and inochi would keep the fella like they just seem to revel in being contrary (might be wrong)....someone else is a bit pro-pards, happy face? By the way his performances from last season do deserve the sack just for the record, but i've just always maintained i wouldn't trust Ashley to hire someone to make me happy if he was ditched. Onnce decision was made to keep him, i decided to give him another season and another chance. So actually i do think in general Pardew's performances from last season should have earned him the sack under normal circumstances, but this club hasn’t got normal circumstances Talk about a contradiction of a post. If you are happy with a bloke you think should have been sacked , what difference does it make who is appointed? Because there's a difference, if i was a Spurs fan i'd have wanted Harry Redknapp sacked and AVB brought in, however i wouldn't have wanted Redknapp sacked if they weren't looking to upgrade. In our case we wouldn't be looking to upgrade, it would be someone like/deffo JFK, so i'd rather stick? I think you would be hard pressed to find a manager worse than Pardew tbh . I've actually named our next manager in my post if Pardew gets fired so i wouldn't say i'm hard pressed. He certainly isn't worse. I would guarantee you wouldn't see the cowardly tactics and performances that Pardew has been manufacturing. Incredible that you can be so sure Joe would be better. Not sure what the basis is for that conclusion. Have you watched us lately. Good grief. Yes, do you know who Joe Kinnear is? This is some fag packet maths, so feel free to correct me, but in Kinnear's 24 games we got 10 draws and 5 wins, 25 points. In Pardews last 24 games we've got 27 points, giving him very slight point-for point advantage. However, many of those points were from games which seem in the very distant past compared to how Pardew is performing now in his woeful recent record of both results and performances (Beating Chelsea 3-2 at home, remember that?) Based on that, I'd say Kinnear would be better than August 2013 Pardew.

If we lose this, it'll be the first time we've lost 4 consecutive premier league games.

Sick of him changing the subject to Man Fucking City and how we can't compete with them. No one's expecting the fucking title Alan. When we're talking about matching ambition we're talking about investing in players like Southampton and trying to hold on to players like Everton. These are not clubs we can't match because they're funded by sovereign states.
