"Have you ever seen a Mackem in Milan?"

Wait, wait, let's get the opinion of the guy who stubbed out a cigar in someone's eye

Current WSL matches you seem to get much more time on the ball than you do in 2023 Premier League, but then the football of Keegan's playing era looks slower paced and less intense as well (remember being able to pass back to the keeper and have him pick it up?) . He still seems willing to stick his oar in about the modern game though.

Shame this lad got himself banned, would love to hear his thoughts on the game. Lots of plaudits from fans of other Premier League clubs in the comments which is weird cos RTG thinks other fans all hate us.

Looked class today from the East Stand. Anyone have a shot of Monty Magpie opening the CL ball banner? -

According to Facebook memories on this day 11 years ago I saw some French hooligans throwing a flare into Debenhams.

Let's hope they haven't brought any of these over with them

Even worse last night. Same auld codgers who were moaning about how ridiculous it was that we were still queuing 5 minutes after kickoff briefly tapping their phone against the camera instead of the NFC reader and then gormlessly standing there wonder why the turnstile isn't open and completely ignoring the woman tapping on the glass telling them they need to put their phone on the place it tells you to and hold it there.

They did that in the women's world cup and made a hash of it https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/23197213/womens-world-cup-referee-var-decision/

Well, they made the right call and then communicated it incorrectly. They thought the goal had been allowed on-field and they were being asked to check if that should be overturned. So they drew the lines, decided he was onside and sent out the "check complete" message indicating to stick with the on field decision, which they thought was that the goal should stand. Would love to have heard their reaction when they saw Spurs taking a free kick.

Should have been down to 9 against us as well, petulant little pricks.
-
I didn't see them tho.

Presumably wasn't there doing the poznan with the rest of the Stadium of Light the first time "Al Qaeda owned City" won the league.
