  1. Sitting next to my mate who took the Kevin Nolan fist-pump photo that's being used by the guardian. Who wants to touch me?

Well said Joey. Congratulations on the 3 points tonight Alan, hope you don't wake up tomorrow
  3. Anyone who thinks you can't support the team while also slagging off Ashley and pardew isn't at this match.

Supermac is on stage at the Centurion, slagging off the appointment to a largely disinterested crowd, claiming the decision was made ages ago, talking about pardew losing.dressing rooms, casino buddies etc.
  6. Isn't there a club who have links with the traveller community whose local rivals have a large repetoire of chants like "The wheels on your house go round and round"? Have a feeling it's being made a big deal of because of less light hearted stuff in the past.
  7. Sounds like the start of a chant to the tune of "My old man's a dustman" What were the chants from WBA anyway?
  8. Considering team spirit and morale is pretty much the only thing that's been getting us anywhere, it's absolutely crazy to suggest it's playing it safe to stick by a man which such a record of completely dismantling morale (to the point where he was sacked in spite of a 4-0 win for creating a 'suicidal' atmosphere at Southampton) rather than seeing what's in the box if we don't play nice. The gamble is shrugging our shoulders and saying "Oh well, guess we've got to get behind him."
  9. Uh, yes? Happens on a regular basis. Yep, and even after all that I'd still rather have Beardsley, Stone, Lee Clark, pretty much anyone other than this horrible boil of a man. Sorry if I wasn't clear.
  10. Basically, none of us know what's going to happen, and my predictions may be different from yours. I cannot see this ending well. i cannot see it lasting more than a season. At the moment, we're in chaos anyway. Pardew walking away within the next few months is just another aspect of the current chaos. What I can see happening is that we teeter on for a while, things calm down, the inevitable happens, the shit hits the fan and then we have a new period of chaos, rather than just an extended current one. Basically, I'd like what I see as Pardew's inevitable departure to come now or soon, while things are already up in the air and shit is kicking off everywhere rather than it happening 6-12 months down the line when we have to do all this shit again. Forcing Ashley's mate to jack it in the job he gifted him would be a major victory for the club and fans, possibly the first tangible thing we've been able to take off him (certainly more quantifiable than poorly supported attempts to hit his pocket by not buying a pie.) And that can only be a good thing for the power balance of this relationship.
  11. And not rocking the boat and turning up with fixed grins is not going to make any difference either, just do whichever makes you feel better, blocking it out of your mind and acting like evrything's fine, happy clapping and backing the manager the players hate, or kicking off and making Pardew feel like Nick Clegg at a student rally. Same outcome, different route. So you're keen on relegation, then. You obviously are. I honestly don't believe you're quite as stupid as your posts to me make you appear. Says the man who backed Graeme Souness 100% all the way through his tenure. Backing Pardew will see us relegated. Care to explain how? And whilst you're at it tell me also how not giving the manager a chance would save us? Not giving Parddew a chance to take us down has an outside chance of saving us. Ok let's continue this discussion since at least you are attempting to use logic. Explain to me 2 things, first how exactly are our actions going to force Pardew out? What manager wants to stand on a touchline week in, week out, gettign dogs abuse from his own fans and having to sneak into the stadium? Beardsley? I'd rather have an unknown quantity than the known quantity of Pardew. If Ashley finds he's not actually doing his mates a favour by giving them jobs at the expense of the club, but it can become a curse, maybe he might think twice about doing it? If we back Pardew, who do we have as manager? Pardew? Oh, wait, my version of that question wasn't as rhetorical as yours.

  13. Giving the new manager as much shit as possible isn't going to help anyone. The mackems will enjoy it, though. Who gives a fuck what the mackems think? They'll enjoy seeing him there as long as possible. We backed Hughton to the hilt and it got him sacked. If we back Pardew, who's to say Ashley won't decide he also is too close to the fans and holds too much power and sack him as well, something which would supposedly be disasterous if we listen to the likes of you? Actually, you might be onto something...

Was it club shop at SJP? Mate told me this morning and I assumed it was club shop up there but never clarified. Aye at the ground. Went past about an hour ago and couldn't see any damage at all. The one next to Shearer's Bar? Should have gone to Specsavers. What was broken then? Walked past on one side of the road, saw nowt, crossed over and had a look again, all windows present and correct. unless they've fixed it sharpish?
  15. So fighting a decision which has drastically cut our odds of going down is a pro-relegation stance, gotcha.

  18. If we back Pardew, we deserve to be relegated.
  19. More like a reputation for putting up with shit that would cause a riot at any other club. Liverpool fans were having a million man march and a celebrity campaign about how it felt like having your whole family raped because they finished 7th in the Premier League.

? WHU are going to bid for him apparently. IMO, I dont think he will be off, just yet anyway. Wouldn't be surprised if he's reunited with Hughton there by the end of the season.
  21. Think I remember that one as well to be honest, I've certainly seen the crossbar come down at least once.
