If we are going to sell him, can we get it over and done with and start looking at getting a replacement and investing the money please, rather than dicking about humming anf harring over contracts and bids and then being stuck playing James Perch there for ages?
-
Quite like the black trim.
-
Well, that was shit. Lived in Stoke for three years and it's no exaggeration to say it's the worst town in England, a frothing pot of dog shit and smack heads.
-
Good start to the season now turned into a relegation fight. Thanks Mike, you thick cunt.
-
Would some cunt, any cunt, take us over please?

Everything about this game has been fucking appalling. I'm going to piss in four pint glasses, take them to the bar and ask for a refund.
-
They look more likely to get a forth.
-
You include yourself in that accusation? Absolutely, went into the Liverpool match fucking incandescent and was placated by the result.
-
Useless fucking fannyrat, though to be fair the fans deserve him for lying down and accepting the appointment.
-
Can't see where a goal would come from.
-
Would that mean that the winners of the competition wouldn't be allowed to defend it the following season?

Makes me wonder if the Goodfellas one was adapted from another club where there was at least some tenous link, like "Goodison Fellas" or something. Stoke are probably wondering why the fuck their club shop has a t-shirts with a picture of a load of old TVs stacked on top of each other with "Town Town Red and White Army" written next to it.
-
It's not the club doing these, it is a 3rd party supplying the club, Everton have the same design as well. But Everton and Man City are both in two-team cities where their local rivals are scorned as being supported more by glory-hunting outsiders than locals. The joke doesn't work for Newcastle and Sunderland.
-
They've nicked the 'local/tourist' shirt idea from Man City. You know, where it would actually make sense http://shop.mcfc.co.uk/stores/mancity/products/product_details.aspx?pid=79861

Weren't they quite new by hooligan standards (with Newcastle previously only having an "Intercity Firm" common to many clubs)? Remember suddenly they announced who they were, had little business cards printed, painted "GREMLINS" behind the east stand and within a week most of them had been nicked thanks to their inability to keep any kind of low profile and that was that. Also, just in the first few paragraphs face of football Toon thug casual clobber centre of chaos. dossier of disorder Is this journo paid per use of alliteration?

Sports Secretary Jeremy Hunt has had private lessons to teach him the rules of football, he admitted yesterday. The Culture, Media and Sports Secretary revealed he was so ignorant of the game he called in officials from the FA for help. ---snip--- "If you asked me what the offside rule was, I couldn’t tell you," he said. “I decided to put it right, so the FA is very kindly sending someone to my office tomorrow." http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Sports-Secretary-Jeremy-Hunt-has-admitted-he-has-been-having-lessons-to-teach-him-the-rules-of-football-as-he-knew-nothing-about-the-game-article711959.html

Europe: would you take, er, 5th place right now?
BlueStar replied to kirkwdavis2001's topic in Football
Fuck knows, his mum's from Lancashire but I don't think they ever lived down there. His older brother's a toon fan so God knows how he ended up supporting Bolton, just to be akward at a guess. -

Erm, we've been in Europe twice in the past 5 years and didn't do that badly at all. Drew away with Bayern and knocked out Atletico Madrid last time we were in it, and possibly would have got past Sporting if Megson had not decided to play a reserve team because we had a relegation six-pointer on the Sunday (which we duly lost after an inept performance). To be honest with Bolton it's more just a personal thing for me, my mate's brother is a Geordie Bolton fan who goes on like a proper cunt on Facebook whenever Bolton win and/or Newcastle lose. -
I know a new owner would mean another period of upheaval, but I don't think we can count continued ownership under Ashley, a man who's gone through 6 managers during his short ownership and has put the club on and off the market like the hokey-cokey, as 'stability'
