That a better offer might come along later? He's made the msiake of holding out before when he wouldn't sell and the club's plummetted in value, surely he can't make the same mistake again?

It's more than possible I've got vague memories of being lectured by a Villa fan when I said something about Villa playing in claret and blue, said something like "We do NOT play in claret and blue, that's West Ham. We play in (insert some very similar sounding colours)" But that could have been another team, it could have been the other way round (West Ham don't play in claret and blue, that's us) or I could have dreamt it. Well exactly, I feel like we're under some kind of cruel magical curse where whatever is written in tabloids is destined to come true one way or another. The stories about Ashley selling (remember when we were hoping those were false? Sigh), about Ashley being a moron of a business man, the stories of Keegan not being happy, of Wise meddling in transfers, of Keegan resigning, of Kinnear staying longer term... Guess it's pretty easy to make stuff up about Newcastle though, just predict the worst case scenario and you're likely to be proven right.
