Joelinton is a physical and mental beast we made the most of, he's probably the strongest player in the league outside of massive CBs. The logic doesn't really apply to many other players, especially not a player most see as lazy and out of shape.

I think Florentino Luis would look good in a better team.

Don’t remember a saga like this in recent history for a club of this stature. A player just shut down by management, expected to move on to better things with no real love from the fans and just accepted its best everyone just moves on.

Selfishly I hope Joelinton doesn’t go to the World Cup so he can get himself right for next season. If we didn’t have a million other problems I would try and cash in on him this year but I think we have to just ride it out now.
