Im not sure how even the likes of Cronky are meant to be impressed by this "new plan" the club are meant to have. In even the best case scenario, say they invest and get a decent manager and coaching team in, they are saying as soon as they win a cup or finish top 4 they will sell to the first money grabbing consortium that comes along and scrap all the theoretical good work that has been done. If he wanted any support surely he needed to promise the investment etc and then say he will only sell if he hasn't won something in the next 2-3 years.

I think people are right about there being a player in there somewhere if his head is in the right place. I can only begin to imagine what it must be like for some of the better players to have went in to training everyday for the last few years just knowing it was going to be the same old shit of worrying about who we play at the weekend and the odd practice at floating balls to Williamson at the far post. IF they can come back from a short summer break to see a new coaching team with ideas and crazy things like attacking tactics then they can rediscover their enthusiasm and start to think about improving as players and a team. Taking Sissoko as an example, for the last 2 years at least, a few games aside, he has been identified as a strong pacy wide man and told to stay out on the right. If he comes back in with someone new in charge, gets played in a midfield three alongside a new holding midfielder and someone intelligent like Anita, with pace, strength and movement ahead of him (New CF, Perez, Cabella) we could see a whole new player. I dont think we need that much change in the personnel as an attacking team, (obvioulsy we need a lot of strength in depth added) we just need the players to be given a chance.

Their plan has worked. I am now happy with ABC Anyone But Carver

Hull City 0-0 Manchester United - SUPER SUNDZzzzz
Belfast Boy replied to LoveItIfWeBeatU's topic in Football
Would be great if they go 3 or 4 up and the crowd at SJP can relax and just concentrate on hurling abuse at Ashley regardless of our score -
no doubt once we head into the last 20 minutes level he will take off Cabella for Armstrong, have five up front, no midfield and wonder why James Collins still manages to beat Perez in the air

Yep, not saying I think there is something on the back, just looks like the official site trying to make it appear better (along with cropping out the chevron shit)

From the official site http://www.nufc.co.uk/javaImages/ce/8b/0,,10278~13732814,00.jpg Whats the black on the back under the puma triangle? If that was the only picture released you would think it was a nice strip, maybe even with a striped back

if/when West Ham get Rafa or Jemez....

Why would Wonga let us release this with the old logo the same week they try and launch a rebrand?

Having heard the leaks I had hoped it wasn't going to be so bad but that is awful

QPR 2 - 1 Newcastle United - 16/05/15 - Post-match reaction from page 23
Belfast Boy replied to Dave's topic in Football
QPR had made all 3 changes at HT and we had all ours to make. He had 45 minutes to change anything he wanted without them having a chance to respond and we still threw it away. -
Any chance of this or not?

Are you forgetting JFK?

It wasn't looking great and now they are treating our last three games as cup finals. Maybe chucky will even get a run out in one of them, rest some purples for important games.
-
I wonder if anyone has even bothered telling Colo that he "wrote" that
-
I think Carver has spoken out against Williamson as an easy target, thinking it will get the fans onside as he knows he's not popular. The bizarre thing to me is the complete over the top praise of Colback, is he really liked by anyone?
-
I'd appoint Jonas as player manager for these three games. Surely has to be the most liked in the dressing room and everyone would give their all for him. Bin Carver, Stone etc and just tell the players its up to them now
-
Admitting he has lost them then
-
Our only hope is that QPR play Man City next so may be down before we go there

QPR and Southampton

WBA aren't safe at this rate. Huge game against them.

Did everything he was meant to superbly today. Assuming he is meant to be totally anonymous and hide at all times
