  1. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-united-owner-mike-ashley-7889661 So printing what he said, word for word, after asking if it was ok to use it, is "turning it" now?
  2. And that £0.5m thrown away is roughly Pardew's annual salary, heavily rumoured to be all it would cost to bin him
  3. Unbelievable but thankfully I can now quite happily get behind Swansea
  4. Unfortunately, no matter how bad he is, a win will come eventually. He has to be forced out soon, or else it will be all about look how he has turned it round.
  5. Has to be another defeat and the heavier the better. I don't expect that to be enough to get Pardew sacked but unless we keep losing he definitely won't be. I agree we need points to stay up but priority has to be getting him out. If he stays we go down, simple as that. The longer he stays, the less chance we have of staying up but at least there will be a chance. I can't wait to get back to wanting us to win.
  6. That first caller Up to a couple of weeks ago I would have been convinced he was a troll but having seen the Hull game i think most newcastle fans are getting everything they deserve right now. It seems this place and sackpardew.com are the sane minority
  7. The problem with this theory, ie Ashley wanting to sack him but waiting till the time is right to get an immediate replacement, is that its so obvious to anyone that having no manager would be better than having Pardew. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, Ashley is happy to see us being shit, I think 17th would do him fine each and every year.
  8. doesn't seem like it, Bruce denied the existence of any recall clause before the match and why would he bother signing a new deal here when he could probably get much better offers to go somewhere else on a free with the bonuses of larger wages and nice signing on fee. I met a Canal+ journalist in The Strawberry who'd just been interviewing Ben Arfa's agent on Saturday. There's a recall clause between 1st and 10th January, but it won't get activated if Pardew's still here, apparently. Pardew's final act of cuntishness will be to quit on January 11th
  9. Just so I am sure, which are the six teams we have given up on ever competing with now? Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Man United and
  10. I think his time as manager has gone now but I too hope he is back at the club or day. He lifted the club as a player, saved us as a manager and hopefully can resurrect the club on a boardroom level someday soon. If anyone ever buys Ashley out then they should look no where else for the perfect figurehead.
  11. Adrian Durham slating Pardew for his management of Ben Arfa
  12. Are there plans for the Hope banner in the ground again tomorrow?
  13. Hopefully we can see the game out. More of his front foot football coming up then
  14. did he play last night and if he did what position?
  15. I heard Paul Merson say they spent gillions
  16. Just catching up with this "Hope" banner being donated to them. Didn't Santoon say "you'll never know how we got it up there" and was it hanging from a VIP area? I am clinging to the hope that some big names are behind all this. I had a dream last night that whoever it was bought the club and made Keegan Chairman.
  17. What time did this all break in relation to the team photo yesterday? It would have been nice if the players could have done something for him, like an unofficial version of the photo all wearing spiderman masks. I suppose it all broke too late though
  18. Jesus, what has our club become?
  19. Luke Edwards on TalkSport now talking about the Colo for manager story and despite writing it he is basically saying its nonsense.
  20. If you don't get him Froggy don't worry, come get Obertan back instead
  21. Of course it doesn't. I certainly hope not
  22. Latest conspiracy theories : "promote from within " Sudden change of heart from Colocinni to stay Dramatic loss of form or even will to win leaving Pardew on the brink Does all this point to Colo for Manager?
  23. Just listened again to Colin Murray on Talksport website, from about 1020 this morning. He got it spot on, exposed Ashley for what he is and explained how he has no desire to sack Pardew because he is doing everything required from Ashley to allow him to keep coining it in.
