Good player. Can't understand why he's not getting picked.
-
Fan-fucking-tastic tonight. Hats off to you Alan. Still never had a chance though.
-
Great to have some fucking pride back isn't it? It almost feels daft to be so happy with a result and performance without three points but there was only one side deserved a winner and it wasn't fucking Arsenal.
-
Portsmouth's not a good comparison. Most of them were his players anyway.
-
I really hope the players and fans rally as one tomorrow, live on Sky let's show the world that we're NUFC and we will not have our good name dragged through the mud, not by ourselves, not by anybody. Get behind the lads, get behind the manager and let's kick Arsenal off the park and try and nick it. Either way, let's come out of it with our fucking heads held high for a change eh?

Seems a very intelligent but also a very troubled bloke. Still doesn't quite have his head straight, lucky he has football to channel it instead of going down the route that, for example, his brother has.
-
Incredible arrogance, how dare you? Ok, you're right, I admit it.

Daft mackem bitch.

Nice one. I'm really hoping for an electric atmosphere on Wednesday. We often get one against Arsenal and I'm hoping the whole stadium will rally together against all the shit that's been printed in the last week or so and we can start to put things right on and off the field. Fingers crossed for us to be Newcastle United for a change.

Agree with that. But if it's a 4-3-3, then i don't think N'Zogbia fits in the front six, so would have to go in at left-back. He needs to be in the team regardless... The other three defenders shouldn't be changing, imo. Why is Milner a better bet for the left side of the front three than N'Zogbia? Genuine question.
-
Arsene Wenger will laugh his tits off if we play N'Zogbia at left back. Weaker going forward, weaker at the back.
-
Enrique tbh. Continutity. N'Zogbia is more valuable in a 4-3-3 imo. I don't see any value in the continuity of playing our most dangerous attacker in defence, when we've a perfectly good LB doing nowt. Viduka in goal for the rest of the season would be continuous but not a lot of use. If we're play 4-4-2, then yeah. If we're playing 4-3-3 - which we really should be after the Blackburn performance (and seeing as we've used that formation in games that we've won), then N'Zogbia fits in nowhere but full-back - he's not worth having in that middle three, that's not his game at all. He's dangerous attacking from deep anyhow. So why have we bought Enrique? N'Zogbia would be better than Milner as part of the front three, you need pace in there for a start. I don't like 4-3-3 anyway and we haven't got the players for it.

I can forgive changing things for injuries, I don't expect Big Faye to play with a hamstring strain, but I can't forgive this fucking about with the full backs.

or how about playing Beye and Enrique at full back once the specialist CB's are available again? Cos none of them have looked as good as Beye, tbh. Bollocks imo. Cacapa, Pompey aside, has looked imperious. Beye's made cock-ups too (winner for Reading, even Blackburn's second he was somewhat culpable for), we need unity and some sense of a back four, rather than just whoever is available slung in. None of our new defenders have done themselves justice so far - and it is absolutely not because they are shite, any of them. The way some people have totally written off Cacapa (and I'm not talking about you Keefaz, I know you're a level headed soul) is mind-boggling to me. Apart from the fact he wasn't even fit, good defenders make mistakes - did you see Carragher today giving Anelka an open goal? Hyypia too makes mistakes, and the pair of them are incredibly one paced. They know each other's game inside out though and that's what's made them one of the best defences in Europe over the past few years. This bloke's won five consecutive French titles as captain in a side which has also been excellent in Europe during that time - one bad ten minute spell and suddenly he's not good enough for NUFC or the Premiership. Sometimes I wonder just who the fuck we think we are.

"When the Bramble's Bloopers DVD comes out, it'll have to be four hours long" Nice one, Adrian. Ronaldo is writing a furious letter to the BBC as we speak.

Spurs. What a fucking strike though. Probably goal of the season so far.

The booing perspective - Joey Barton has his say on us...
Wullie replied to Benwell Lad's topic in Football
Must say, I agree with this 100%. Folks mention Hughes, O'Neill, etc as if they could simply step into the St James cauldron and transform us into a decent team. But we haven't been a decent team for years despite having a squad stuffed full of well-paid international players. It'll take time to sort this rabble out - I'd expect Sam to faff around with formations and team selections through most of this season. If nothing else, he finds out who can do a decent job for the team, who needs to be shipped out, and where to stengthen. That's not something that can be figured out on the training pitch - it's only in the heat of battle (and the full glare of the supporters and media) this can be done properly. Frankly, some of his selections are baffling, but I have faith he will get it right and we'll be a much better side...next season. I agree. Unfortunately I don't think we're going to get a chance to find out. I'm as sick as everyone else at the moment, but 15 games ffs. -
Stoke away. They're not bad either. Wank.

I said as soon as Villa came out that it would be Man Utd. Every single year. brummie must be sick.
