    Well said that man.
  2. All of them absolutely abysmal tonight. Solano the best of a bad bunch, while Bramble, Taylor and Huntington were fucking shambolic.

    Emre

Parker looked like our most potent attacking thread and that's saying something for it being him. Was the same against Boro actually. Nowt wrong with his goal either.

He had to take them since our most productive creator, one James Milner, was still sat on the fucking bench doing fuck all.

    Huntington

Should have been off after half an hour, it was obvious Jenner had the total run of him.
  6. Had the feeling it was coming since that second away goal in the first leg. Never caused AZ the slightest problem tonight. Disgraceful, it's Lisbon all over again. No fucking bottle.

Yup - I heard that too. I was always under the impression that the 3 of them got on ? Ribbing aside, they did seem to have a good chemistry together - Slaven and Gatesy as the jokers, with Supermac as the straight man. In their book, they talk about a huge falling out over wages for something or other that had MacDonald nearly coming to blows with Slaven during an advert break. I think they all are/were friends generally though. Wouldn't have worked otherwise, doesn't work now either. No craic anymore.
  8. This is the Football League, where the Championship and League Two races are very close at the moment. I don't see how doing away with draws would make the league any closer anyway. Surely if one side is picking up a point each every now and then, that will make a closer contest than 3 for a win, 0 for a defeat every game. It ain't broke so don't fix it.
  9. Just read that. Utter shite, don't know why they're even discussing it. It'll be "to make it more exciting" or something, it's exciting enough as it is, thanks very much. Bet there's a yank in there somewhere.
  10. Fantastic flick from Berbatov. Looks even better on kingdawson's telly than at the match though.
  11. He will be there in a minute, still getting down to Campo's shot... Like it.
  12. really why were the tickets ofr our game against AZ chaep then £20's not particularly cheap tbh. The club set the price, not UEFA.
  13. It's all coming out in the wash now.
  14. Got internet access at WHL these days? What a club.
  15. Awful tackle by Richards.
  16. Mostly because he's suffered hamstring injures during his early years at Liverpool, he's only played more than 30 league games twice in any season. Owen - 227 Premiership games - 125 Premiership goals - goal every 1.81 games Berbatov works out at a goal every 3.125 games, Martins has a goal every 2.5. How do you work that one out? Martins has scored 10 goals in 24 premiership starts and Berbatov has 8 in 23. Berbatov overall ratio is far superior to martins. I was counting appearances, not starts. However I still suggest you get your calculator out because, even by your criteria, by "far superior" you actually mean worse. I mean overall as in all competitions. Im right tbh. You don't play the same teams in all competitions. You do in the league. I don't see how that's a difficult concept.

  19. That dipshit John Helm on Five keeps referring to him as a player that we still 'haven't taken to'. I'm not sure the kid could have done any more this season, realistically. Some people want their fucking heads knocking together. My mate, the Boro fan who sees plenty of us, says he'd be embarrassed if Boro fans were going on like that over a top class player.
  20. Anyone just hear the nugget on the Legends slagging him off? Sounded like a decent bloke till they asked him his "most disappointing player of the season".
  21. My mate's been trying to get us tickets today but the site crashed and he had no luck.
