  1. Whilst I agree with parts of what you're saying, that's absolute madness. If Hughton gets the praise when the team does well, people need to understand that he'll get criticism when they do badly - especially when the reason we failed to beat Stoke and Wigan were because of mistakes on the coaching team's part. Hyperbole... especially re: Wigan. The players have to take some responsibility.

    Wayne Rooney

25% of the profit (so anything over £27m).
  3. Bit ridiculous to say he hasn't a clue at home having just gone a season unbeaten.
  4. I think it's very sad that we're already talking of a change after what he achieved last season. I'm usually one of the first to get sick of the manager and start calling for the chop (Souness hadn't even been shown round his office before I was outside with a poorly spelled sign) but this is ridiculous. We've just been promoted, not sure what some of you were expecting, especially when the player he was really banking on as being the difference has been assaulted and has a broken leg. The home form hasn't been good enough but on the other hand, the away form has been better than we've seen for ages in the Premier League. Three points at Goodison and only a corrupt referee stopping us getting another three at Eastlands is more than I was expecting in the same way that getting beat off Blackpool is not what I expected. He's learning. Give him a break ffs.
  5. Haven't a clue what other people see in him.

Internet at half time's always sluggish but for the last two or three games, I can't get on or even send/receive a text throughout the whole game. Like Jon, it also seems to affect my phone for a while afterwards too.
  7. Talk of sacking Hughton is just utter drivel imo.
  8. Mainly overated by himself. Would you swap Barton for Charlie Adam if you had the chance? I'd swap him for Charlie fucking Chalk, he's fucking shit.
  9. Barton is one of the most overrated players we've ever had in my lifetime. His performance yesterday was disgusting.
  10. He seems to have been told to cross more instead of trying to beat everyone and cut it back and it's working. He is a good crosser, he just isn't keen on it, same with shooting. I remember him popping in a number of great crosses with both feet on his debut in a friendly against Valencia. Very frustrating but he finally seems to working to improve that area. Should be taking the corners every time tbh, especially if Guthrie's off the field, Barton's are atrocious.
  11. Raping was always on the cards against a player of the class of N'Zogbia.
  12. Joey Barton could play football in an empty room and the prick would still get caught in possession.

    De Jong

Henry or Cattermole with a better pass, a player who is only on the field to hurt other players. Cunt. Added to the list of players I wish serious serious injury on. I'm talking David Buust, failing that a car crash.
  14. Never seen anything in Babel in a red shirt. Don't rate him.
  15. Nail on head, Carroll needs a partner. He's just not mobile enough to play up front alone. It's a concern. We've got some really good players but they don't fit together very well into an obvious system that will get the best out of them. Hughton's got some real thinking to do. I do want to try Ben Arfa in the role Nolan currently occupies but to do that we really need the wide players to support the front man more, in the same way that, for example, Kalou and Malouda do for Chelsea. No reason why they can't do it, Jonas and Routledge are both good players, but it'll take some work. While we are using Chelsea as an example, we could also use Lampard as an example of how the central midfielder can provide valuable goals in a 4-4-1-1 system. It's what Nolan was initially bought for until it was realised that he has the legs of a pensioner. If Barton's going to play alongside a holding midfielder like Tiote then he should also be getting in the box more. Although I don't want to do him down because he's a great player, Lampard's basically made a world class career for himself simply from being on the edge of the box at the right time and keeping his shots low and true, it's that simple. No reason whatsoever that Barton shouldn't be able to get himself a few goals a season.

    Mcboro

Strachan's done a dreadful job there like.
  17. He should shoot more often, got a belting shot on him and he's had the opportunity a couple of times this season and opted against it.

  19. Hometown club? Assuming you mean Drogba? Bellamy man.
  20. Bastards! Have faith in the Posh they for me have the best group attackers in that league Apparently not the best defence, cunts.

  22. Would it get goals though? That's my concern.
