Never heard anything so ridiculous. Part of the reason England continue to look so comfortable is because we spent most of the group stage expending as little energy as possible. The players in our squad have played more football in the last 12 months than any other country, yet here we are in the semis and we look the freshest around, we've hardly sweated a bead.

Here's me thinking the point of entering an international tournament was to try and win it. Turns out the point is actually to expend all your energy in the group stages to rack up the goal difference so that you don't get accused of being boring. Utterly horrendous patter.

I think we play like a boring good team. Benitez's Liverpool, Tuchel's Chelsea, basically any Juventus team you can remember before the last year or two. Win 1-0 or 2-0 most games, get the job done with a minimum of fuss, especially in cups, where results matter most. I think we'll put at least 3 past Ukraine fwiw.
