Well, at least we have Wilson's replacement in now. Not over fussed, given how he's gone on at Brentford this summer but I guess beggars can't be choosers.
-
Would be outrageously stupid for Newcastle to agree to a sale, with no replacement lined up - but it would be typical of the club. I remember when Cole was sold - no direct replacement and Paul Kitson had to lead the line, until Les Ferdinand was signed the following summer. Kitson took a lot of stick for the record, IIRC. My own feeling? Isak will stay - but Sky and the BBC will be all over it tomorrow.
-
I wouldn't go after Wissa now - would make us huge hypocrites given what Isak has done.
-
Scrappy game and will always take a point away from home, but.... With a motivated Isak playing - we win that. Can't be overstated enough how much he has fucked over our start to the new season, with his selfish antics.

Blyth Spartans win 2-0 at Garforth Town. 2 late goals.

Why the change of shape I wonder? -
Having watched his interview, he comes across as a good lad and obviously speaks good english which will help him settle massively. Hopefully he will pick up some geordie in the years to come too.

Best wishes to the future, for him. Don't think his development was helped, by a bad couple of loan moves. -
what a shambles it's been the summer, in the search for a striker.
-
It's early days for him of course, but it's not a great start is it? All about the £££ for him though, as it is with the others who join the Mancs. It's easy money.

There it is. Grimsby miss.

Man United to win on pens and be 'lauded for their never say die' attitude.
-
Grimsby touching cloth here.
-
He had been decimated by injuries and had lost 2 yards of pace by the time SBR brought him in. Shame, as he was quality before. Discovered by Jack Hixon (who discovered Shearer)
-
North Shields had a rough start too?
-
Sky suggesting that Isak has had a meeting with club head-honchos earlier on today. Oh to have been a fly on the wall......
-
Jamie Reuben and the recruitment team need to now pull their finger out and get at least one centre-forward in. Isak (fuck him), Gordon - can't relied on and Osula is still very green.
-
Captain's performance tonight. Pity Isak doesn't have an ounce of his guts and integrity.
-
3 game ban coming up then? When he's available again - needs to be on the bench. Him being a tit (again) has cost us tonight.
-
Full credit to the lads for not rolling over and fighting our way back to 2-2, but it's just not to be our day. The scousers have the indian sign over us in the league - for years. NUFC mind - never under estimate it's ability to shoot itself in the foot - Isak's antics in refusing to play, and Gordon being a fucking idiot.
