Jonas clearly picked for his supposed 'work eithic' as he's offered nowt else for this season. Pleased to see Sissoko and Gouffran getting starts - but no Anita? -

I'd like to see the new lads start, but I guess it will be two from four. Unfortunately, I can see Pardew being uber-cautious tonight, which might play right into Villa's hands. They are their for the taking - manager needs to show some balls (which he hasn't of recent) -
Glad that he has spoken and it puts an end to the speculation (at least for now)

Man United with their obligatory easy draw. Well played Oldham as well as Leeds today - though the latter as still dirty bastards!

Bimpy; http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/jan/23/manchester-united-fa-cup-live-tv "When was the last time an FA Cup game involving Manchester United was not shown on live TV?" asks Jenny Middleton You have to go back to 8 January 2005, when a team including Mr Shakira drew 0-0 at home to Exeter, to find the last time United played an FA Cup game that wasn't shown live. Saturday's match against Fulham will be United's 38th FA Cup tie since then; that's quite a cup run. We don't know precisely how much United have received from TV companies for all those games, but it may well have paid for Bébé. That Exeter game is, according to our resident United cheerleader, one of only two FA Cup ties that has not been shown live since February 1998 and one of only eight out of the last 88 ties, going back to February 1993: Charlton 1993-94, Wrexham 1994-95, Sunderland 1995-96 (the first game), Reading 1995-96, Wimbledon 1996-97 (the first game), Walsall 1997-98, Aston Villa 2003-04 and Exeter 2004-05.

Is that true?

I pay £11.99 a month for Man U TV?! All about pulling in the Man United fans for ratings.

Well done Luton. Helluva result and the first time in 24 years that a non-league club have beaten a top division team.

Good news.

Not surprised. The arsehole should have his contract paid up and he can feck off back down south. Been in trouble too many times. even if he is innocent on this one. He's a real waste of talent.

I hope it's just more rubbish paper speculation and also that Colo would be more professional than walking out on the club.

Oh the irony of Benitez!

Hazard sent off! Could be a huge ban, this one.

Has Hazard has a go at the lad, or is he making a meal of it?

Utter mong. Apparently MYM is an 'unknown' too. Wraith?

Why couldn't all this business has been done last summer, instead of the club resting on their laurels. Good to see some much needed bodies looking like they are gonna sign on, though.

I wouldn't mess, like. Good luck there, Nile. Fair play to him. I can't see Ranger saying boo to a goose on that one!

Was Nattrass one of the local players who went on strike to get Richard Dinnis the job after Gordon Lee walked out for Everton? I remember 'Mira' very clearly and yes, he was greedy. Used to have some huge arguements on the field with Paul Goddard. I also remember him hitting the bar from about 45 yards against Liverpool in 88/89 when we went down. He first lived in Bedlington (the club bought him a house there) and he was well known for playing football games on the street with the local kids. Plenty of my mates at school got his autograph.

If Pardew isn't removed soon, it will happen when the supporters start to turn on the owner and his lacky. That will be the tipping point.
