Damn, would've preferred him over Cissokho. I would rather we went and paid Swansea a few million and sign Neil Taylor. Very impressed with the lad when I have seen him play. Ball playing defender who has a football brain. Then we could move Santon to RB
-
Great news. That must mean the real target is Cissokho Pardew has said a few times Perch is a CB and even has the confiedence to play him, even if it is in midfield, which makes me think there might be more to this one. I would love to see this lad play in a toon shirt.

He cost less than Smith though? ... and uses less conditioner but likes a sausage from time to time from what I hear I'm not convinced we bought Smith as a striker. We bought him as a lamp shade but he was shit at that too

I reakon this transfer would go through if Ashley stopped trying to fax that photo of Pardew banging Ellis' wife to the Sunderland fax machine

Quote from Alan in the Northern Echo story regarding Morrison... “We’ve got ourselves in a position where we can move if we feel a player becomes available who will benefit the club now, in the short term, or in the longer term.” Maybe Ashley's New Years Resolution is to open his wallet a bit more?

Weren't NUFC Representatives in France earlier this week? Could be a goer (which I hope it is)

You'll need to cook it first Nile Why is there a little Nile Ranger in the window? Looks like it is on the tv inside the house to me

We'd have to pay him an extra two days wages if we signed him today

Well if this is true I can see Pardew pushing Santon out to the right once he's bedded in. Shame for Simpson, he should have accepted the reported new deal offered to him rather than thinking he's too good for it. He will probably be off to Villa now.

Does Andy Carrol have a twin brother? If so i think we might have sold him to Liverpool
-
For me it looks like he is carrying an injury. I recall him pulling up a while ago and since then he isn't opening his legs enough whilst running and looks like he has lost a lot of pace.
-
Ronaldo you have a massive ego but your scores are way off the mark. Aside from this why does Pardew play Sammy ahead of his brother and why the hell we play kids ahead of players like Afra and even the experience of Shola over his brother. Beats me Pardew.

Good post. You wouldnt know a good post if it lifted its shirt and thrust its tits in your face while singing...Good Post, Good post. Post(s) aside. Thats what the action you normally take with Gabriel 'cos your his mum aint you? Bitty at what 22-23 the lad needs to get a slap and get told how to play football. Either that of your his agent.

Perch was marking Drogba, Cabaye was tracking Lampard from the throw in. The commentator deffinately said otherwise. Might not have been Cabeye but Perch was on 6 yard line and whoever the Newcastle player was let Drogba run on to the ball to score.

Obertan had a game like he did today and you single out Jonas. For f***s sake take off your rose tinted f***ing glasses. Obertan may have had a poor game, but he still outshone Jonas by a country mile. Jonas provided no threat whatsoever. Maybe its because Jonas was playing up against the second best Norwich player on the pitch? I am not wearing spectacles and Oba was worse. if he had no pace he would not be a footballer IMO.

Aye, lets throw on our superstar player to risk him 2 goals down and a man down with 15minutes left To risk trying to get a draw? For me, there is nothing better than Ben Afra going forward and equally from what I have seen - there is nothing worse than him going backward. He seems to run around without the ball like a headless chicken. Gave a needless pen away in recent games and not being fully match fit has also lost the ball in positions and in game times when it could have cost us dearly. On the ball its a whole diiferent ball game. he is very, very good when going full pelt. I can see why Pardew does not put all his faith in him like.

Perch played, you know, the bloke who was supposed to be marking Drogba last week when he scored. TBF I think Drogba was standing next to Cabeye who let him run on to Perch. Perch was a good few yards in front of Cabeye who had no other option but to try and defend an on-rushing Drogba. Difficult to do that if you are not following player and flight of th ball. That aside Perch does seem to be an Albatros for us.

The irony being Obertan is fairly intelligent and has the French equivalent of A-Levels. A thoroughly depressing if not predictable scoreline. With just two of the 4 players missing we win this game and do it fairly comfortably in my opinion. Norwich are no great shakes and really should have hit more than four against a back four that consisted of a rake and a midget at centre back. On the whole though, it's hard to get to upset because we've been fantastic this season and Ba give their backline a torrid time. Hopefully we can bandage Coloccini up and get Williamson on a segway for next week. Obertan could be a fully qualified doctor. Education means nothing in football. One top player (think it was Lineker) once said Gazza was THE best player he'd ever seen. Oba's decision making wouldn't get past nursery.
-
I totally agree. Have never been impressed by him even when he was at Everton. played like an idiot in the first half. managed to top that in the second by playing like a dick. Poor Cabaye. Obertan was the worst player on th pitch by a country mile IMO

Best Aye, he'd be a hell of problem along with Ba because this guy is a pain in the arse 100% of the time and scores goals. Put him in a better team and he'd bag a lot more in my opinion. Best scores goals but can be invisable. Ameobi, well I am gonna save me time typing that one out...
