Nah, you might well be a fan. Match going 'knuckle heads' pay their dues and are actual supporters of the club. I am a match going knuckle head myself, it's was just a bit of jest at how shit we all are when it comes to giving Pardew some stick. Fair do's. Just get narked at the them and us thing that seems to kick off on here sometimes. /nice banner.

Meh, better to go with Pardews attacking front foot football and lose by four than win by one, right. Right? You have to balance the highs with the lows so when you think of all these thrashings negativity - remember that euphoric feeling we we scored that last minute winner to crush Place at St.James Park. Ah, the good times. Makes me proud.

It's the same shit that went down when people on here were banging on about Bellamy and Robert being the 'cancer' at the heart of the club. Absolutely sickening.

I think that's being kind to us. We've been fortunate enough to have at least one excellent striker at the club during every season under Pardew, and we've relied on them near-implicitly. That's not to say other teams don't, but saying we're 'talismanic' suggests it's a concious gameplan when, really, it isn't. It's just good fortune that we've had such good strikers who've had the ability to conjure something out of minimal attacking cohesion. How in the juddering fuck is it solely 'good fortune' to have brought in decent strikers? Honestly, Ashley must have one hell of a rabbits foot tucked away. We either have decent players (for which Pardew gets a credit, especially for the likes of your highlighted Ba), or we have unfathomably randomly pulled together a decent squad on the cheap, or the squad isn't the best and Pardew is doing ok. I'd tend towards the first option myself. I wasn't doubting the transfer policy in this instance. I'm saying that it's good fortune to have had had brilliant strikers to transform our piece-of-shit set-up into one that gets a few goals and a few wins now and again. That's my point. Like I said, that can be said for a lot of teams, but I was challenging Nixon's idea that we have a concious plan to dedicate our play around one talismanic striker. I don't think it's that at all; for a start we wouldn't have fucked about putting them on the wing, etc. Fair enough. I don't think the plan was to rely on the single striker, or at least it shouldn't be. But beyond the utter unwillingness to invest, i think the players we aim for shows a semblance of a decent conscious effort. Drinking in the afternoon does me no favours.

He seemed to manage Cabaye ok and he seemed to manage to bring HBA on gently to good effect in 2011/12. That isn't my issue though. My issue is people looking back at SBR and KK's teams with rose tinted specs and forgetting that they too had good times and bad times with certain players who have been compared to HBA. Robert quite often got dogs abuse from the stands and in the press and then won people over by scoring a worldy. Robert got a lot of abuse from thick fans and TV pundits. But he got support from the man who counted, and that was Bobby Robson who didn't give a flying fuck what Trevor Brooking or some dope of a fan thought. Robert was a cancer at the club if I remember rightly from posters like HTT. The idea that Remy doesn't have a considerable amount of flair to his game seems incomprehensible to me tbh. He maybe Henry light, but for me he is in the same vein.

The official Twitter has improved loads. Got real personality now. aye, but thats the second time today they've advertised stuff, hope it isn't a sign of them returning to their old ways. I was joking like. What neesy posted is about as bad as it gets tbh, terrible. Terrible? Bit of a bargain at 50p I reckon. -

I hear ya. Anyone who sees a loss as a step closer to Pardew going, never lose, whatever the result. Amarite! nah, it's more that I've not seen us lose at SJP, so I'm confident my record remains intact Can't see owt but a spanking off of the scouse mackems myself... but fuck it, I believe in you, make it happen. -
If it's all about profit, the last thing Ashley wants is to see us in relegation trouble.

He got 6 in his first 10 games, including 2 on his debut. Didn't he? No idea. Just though he looked pretty poor, and for a time seemed to struggle to convert decent chances everytime I watched him.

Not concerned about De Jong lack of goals just yet. It took Bony an age to start looking decent at Swansea, and like Bony, I reckon there is a pretty good striker in there somewhere.

When be Mr Debuchy back?

All fair points. Just got the shakes when looking at our run in. Crisis over, off for a cuppa. Cheers. -

Reckon Stoke have a chance of finishing above us. Hate the look of the remaining fixtures. Got visions of us picking up a maximum of 6 points in the last 8 games ending up in 10th at best. -
There we also a number of games this season we arguably should have lost on paper, but somehow won. Should we not factor those in to this virtual league table?

No idea what goes down in training (he probably is a nightmare to handle tbh), but rightly or wrongly, any supporter who isn't spitting shit at Pardew when a fit Hatem Ben Arfa gets overlooked is unhinged. Rarely anything less than a joy to watch.
