Then I can see why people do what HTT and others keep threatening to do. Give up (though granted, and understandably, it never seems to happen). It is interesting how different people see the club we all support though. It has been grim in a sense, but surely you can enjoy the run for what it is, and in the knowledge we're not fucked, and are unlikely ever to be. If we're talking honours, then one day under this manager, or the next, or the one after that, or someday we'll win something. Not that it matters a jot, we support and enjoy what is there. We all have some mad affinity to the club, and probably an even deeper connection with the city that the club unquestionably represents. And we're a city that however passive the support is painted, will not see a club collapsing into the shit. Whoever is the owner or knacker or manager in charge, the club will not die or be grim for long. There isn't a huge divide, there hasn't been a single season I haven't had a go at the manager, and by fuck Pardew has a lot more to answer for than some, but to support a loss or bemoan a win is just as hurtful and alien to many as it is to others witnessing chants asking Pardew for a wave when we're 2 nil down.

We won. It's the 5th time in a row we've done that. Pardew isn't going anywhere so the best thing to do is to forget him, support the players and enjoy watching a winning team. If you can't do that it may be time to look for another hobby as following NUFC clearly isn't doing it for you. I don't like Pardew either and never will (look at my avatar) but all this wanting us to lose and not celebrating when we score or win is just plain silly. It's up to anyone how they support the team, if thats how you feel that's fine but telling people to "look for another hobby" isn't fair. Wanting us to lose isn't supporting the team. In your opinion. Look up the definition of "supporter" in the dictionary then. No. Some people look for the bigger picture. Happened against Souness, is happening now. You don't want to do it. That's up to you. No one is slagging the team. People want the best for NUFC. You don't get to dictate to people what being a supporter is. So what about those who grief the players when they lose the ball? They "supporting" the team are they? A fair few people who also want the best for NUFC (sometimes just random bods in the stands), have copped a lot worse on here recently than a gentle suggestion to find a new hobby to be fair. Not a competition though is it? I'm merely pointing out that I don't agree with telling people to find a new hobby Fair do's. For what it's worth, I'm not sure there is any sudden pressure to back the bloke, even from the local media. Would take a sustained goddamned miracle for the hate to soften for most. But it's understandable that those seeing other supporters not enjoying games and actively wanting us to lose when the going is (granted, suspiciously) good, start feeling some frustration too. Newcastle winning is still a good drug, whoever the dealer is.

They would have been quite high. Didn't expect this at all. Fantastic turnaround. /lumps everything on a QPR away win.

You mean the quotes some are taking as Cabella already being written off? Yes, yes they are.

What is ridiculous? Of course the Greek teams boss is upset, but all I said was that Abeid is here because nobody matched our valuation of him. That's not to say he was classed as a grade A fecking purple but we saw enough in him not to sell him for a pittance or send him out on loan again. Kakas 'terrifying' post regarding our staff seemed over the top so I responded. Are there many kids we've let go who have gone on to become top players in recent years? Can't think of many, if any tbh. Abeid is not one either, despite how close the Greks felt they had got to pinching him.
-
Shit timing for him. Gawd knows where he'll be mentally after another lay off.
-
Absolutely terrifying.

Because spending time going over all the fuckups concentrates every ounce of negativity into a sustained dose that drives us into a downward spiral of hate and loathing going beyond a general 'things are shit, mainly down to the manager who surely has run his course by now, and I hope to fuck this De Jong lad is the missing link to a side that in theory has potential' to an 'every minutiae is terrible forever. I can't support the team because the team, and the club, and the manager, and even people and fellow supporters I loved can't see what I'm seeing so that even the likes of Shearer and Beardsley are now worse than dog shit for it. The club has literally been ripped away from the very fabric of my soul. It is dead to me.'? It's no fun at the moment but if we start doing well I'm not going to resent it. If we don't then inevitably Pardew will get sacked off. Just gotta be patient...

Pretty non plussed about a screen, but they seem to be in most grounds now and the replays are pretty good for us um... short arses occasionally. 60m2 seems pretty standard. Man City have two 60m2 screens, and guessing Tottenhams are the same, but Arsenals are both 72m2 as far as I can see, so not sure about the joint biggest claim?

Good stuff.

Still don't get why that video produced such a reaction from you twunts (liked the 'filthy heretics' bit mind). Just because I still find undiluted praise tough to take seriously (that's not just for Keegan tbh), I still love what he represents, hell, I just called out Ashley for fucking him over what, 3 posts ago? Not sure what that's got to do with me challenging KI over the Ashley quotes either, bar you just dismiss it again as wummery. If so, then you should find it easy enough to put an argument against what I've said...
-
Regarding Keegans involvement in transfers? Aye. So everything else is just, what? Observable? Fuck knows. You suggested Ashley lied about the threats, but he didn't as far as I'm concerned. They certainly mislead us on how much say Keegan had over transfers, but beyond that piece of cuntery they seem to be either fairly straightforward, or simply fail to say much about anything.
-
Regarding Keegans involvement in transfers (because that's all that is about)? Aye.

No, he never said 'Northumbria Police advised him not to'. Nevertheless, the journalists asked Northumbria Police whether they were the ones that had advised him and they said they hadn't. This place is f***ing toxic. There clearly isn't enough to damn the club if people still feel the need to twist every little thing. Fucking leave then, nee one would be arsed. http://www.wibwnewsnow.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/shots-fired-gun-shooting-crime-police.jpg Boom. Headshot.

LOL Theyve been full of it since they bought the club Its so bad even Llambias couldn't take it anymore. I'd say the club have been surprisingly open about their intentions, certainly in regards to cups and investment. They are idotic when it comes to providing the team with an ambitious and capable manager though, so idiotic in fact that they fucked over the one they did bring in. The judge in the court case regarding Keegan only went as far as stating they misled the press/public over the the amount of control Keegan had over transfers (for no apparent gain), nowt more tbf. Just don't get this constant 'lying' stuff. Same with Pardew but for different reasons, the guy seems to believe in all the guff he spouts. He's just a fucking fraud for the most part.
