  1. One year experience in going to the gym and you expect to see results of that of professional athletes? You can definitely get quicker by growing your legs. I've experienced it before. Eh, no After going to the gym for 6 months or so I bulked p and it effected my pace, mobility etc. I didn't intentionally bulk up nor needed to, its just that every week for example say bench press you would try and lift more and as a result you would naturally bulk up a bit. Mind I can go to the gym for say 2 months and bulk up easily for some reason. As for legs, you're right, you can improve speed, mobility, the lot with leg work, but it is easier to develop your upper body over your legs so the legs are always gonna play catch up compared to other areas of your body. My upper body bulked up at a rate of knots compared to the leg work for example. That's very interesting, but what has all this got to do with the blokes point that if Rooney had the determination that Ronaldo had, and proved it by among other things following his excercise programs, he would not be in the position he is now?
  2. Hope we insert a clause to prevent him from playing in Internationals.
  3. Yup, need him to get a good look at the current squad and how Pardew is looking to set us out this year. Should help him nail down exactly what we need.
  4. If she can finally get Marvaux to physically be able to complete a game, that'd do me.
  5. Where? Where is this being given as the reason? Local Palace media are reporting the hold up is purely down to us wanting a fee now there is more than one team interested. Palace presumed he was on a free.
  6. Hopefully. Whoever else we manage to get through the door, she could still turn out our best signing of the summer.

    Alan Pardew

Nice. Get the excuses in early.
  8. Don't mind Peter Reid personally. No idea how progressive as a coach he'd be though.
  9. No surprise, I agree. In fact, to get us into a position where we only need 2 first team players this summer is pretty good. Question is can we find the right ones at the right prices. The 'right price' aka the absolute bare minimum is the major flaw in our transfer activity though It can be an issue, aye. I'm sure we've missed out on some transfers on account of money. Like the top target we wasted 2 years watching his summer. Not convinced we really wanted Bony but the Debuchy delay and last summers striker failures set us back last season You mean Aubameyang? I doubt we would have got him at any price. I accept the general point though. We will never know if we could have as we pissed about 'in the loop' rather than just putting down the money and going for it. Theres no real evidence to say if we pushed it through he would have turned us down, we do know that mincing about doing nowt definately cost us the player we allegedly most wanted Pissed about 'in the loop'? Not according to French sources - We now know since Thursday that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will wear a Borussia Dortmund shirt next season. The finalists of the last Champions League have spent €13 million ( plus €2 million bonus) to secure the services of the Gabon International In doing so, the owners of Etienne kept their word: they had indeed promised to let PEA choose his destination, as long as the offer made to them was acceptable. The 23 year old having favoured the sporting challenge offered by Borussia Dortmund, ASSE (St.Etienne) had turned its back on higher offers made by Anzhi Makhachkala, Rubin Kazan and Newcastle. http://www.butfootballclub.fr/532517-asse-info-but-pourquoi-le-club-a-refuse-de-meilleures-offres-pour-aubame/ And I'd have thought those offers were in before BVB came in, doing little more than smoking out their interest.
