Season Tickets due to arrive Thursday/Friday - see OP for latest
Dokko replied to Crumpy Gunt's topic in Football
What TT was getting it is that the seats would always have been sold anyway, but why do this now? Plus there isnt going to be as much income through ST sales in the next 2 seasons. Exactly what i'm saying, there really is no point or gain in all this, which makes me call into question his motives in all this. -

But there is no risk in us not having sold them, who needs a guarantee on something 99% sure? -

Absolute nonsense mate. Not going to happen. So what is he doing then? Securing three years of income, easing the cash flow etc. No way he could disappear with the money tbh By disappearing i mean spending the money at the club as in this seasons transfers, then having short incomes for the club in the future while he sells the club on. I know he's paid off £75m of debt, and if he has he will get that back but there is nothing to say that money isn't even a loan that has to be paid back after the sale of the club. So far its been a very disappointing performance from the new regime, not the picnic we all anticipated this time last year, just not sure of his intentions, this just smells wrong, he doesn't need to secure future incomes, were always going to have the seats sold, its the only constant the club has ever had, its stupid to offer reduced price for bulk. Idiotic in fact. -

Is nobody else concerned that were trying to get funds in to the club like this? What happens if Ashley sells up and takes 20k of season ticket seats for the next two years with him? Why else would you offer such a deal, its not like were in dire needs of bums on seats. Fishy. -
But as a rule if you stay away from Newcastle you do stand a chance.

Been a long sh***y day sorry :-[ Ta! (Even in widescreen here it would have taken two monitors side by side!)

Could you sort that post out mate?
-
Bilic has got some cracking dance moves on him.
-
Schweinsteiger, Podolski & Rakitic would be some great additions.
-
Podolski - The lad some on here wouldn't take on loan as he was deemed to much of a risk and a bag of shite.

MaetihS is good for putting things into perspective tbh. Newcastle always about three steps better off than what he implies. After it was pointed out the 'MaetihS' is 'Shiteam' or 'am Shite' in a total reverse i simply skip past all of his posts. Suggest others do the same.

Soz couldn't see a topic, maybe were all watching the apprentice final. More when either I or Dave (edit) can be arsed.

OzzieMandias' Mam crossed in the winning goal for a Shearer hattrick against Leicester in 1997.

Shame were a million miles away from either.

Surely he's got a mobile phone anyway it's not like he'll actually be negoitiating the deal himself. All he has to do is this; Keegan:"Go and buy Shaun Wright Phillips" Wise "Ok" Aye its working well so far.
-
I'd rather see Ashley sell up and Keegan sacked than see Alan Smith playing footballing in a B&W shirt next season.

Its fuking depressing but spot on though. The squad we've got is the weakest i've seen in a long time. hang on....even when you look at man utd they use centre halves as cover for full backs. like wes brown and o'shea that many deem arent good enough for us. Some versatility in players would be great for the squad, why i quite like the idea of Larrson.
