Feel for Brighton. Hated them under Poyet, but nothing but respect for Hughton and the way the majority of the club has handled this season. I think losing out previously had humbled them and possibly a good reason as to why they took their foot off the gas. Job done. The other reason is Brighton were at 110% all season, whereas we barely got to 80%, for whatever reasons. During the course they ran out of steam a few times ( brought back to life with good management) most tellingly at the very end. No shame, they battled harder, smarter whilst deserving it more yet as expected came up short due to quality. You could go further and bring luck etc.. in to it but we've both had our good and bad. Glad both teams are up. Hopefully both stay up next season.

Pretty certain stockdale grew up in cramlington, went to high school with one of my mates. If so it possibly explains his weird hate for us had he been growing up as another supporter.
