  1. The amount of names we've been linked with already is crazy. Some good quality as well. Desperate to see the next one through the door, hope it's something special.

Apparantly its very, very deluded to suggest that Clark is on 30K a week Just looked at that thread. Majorly embarrassing!!!! Oh oh but wait 6 in a row... They'll have Derek Mcinness soon, we just cant compete FTM marra From what I've seen he's a Scottish Roy Keane, which they'll love. Think he was always a MLF as well, just no one asked him.

If we stay up and he has some decent games n route we'll have bought our way to survival.
  5. One of the first faces I can remember of sky sports.
  6. Isn't he always injured, or am I making that up? Wonder if we could palm off De Jong.

Probably was told they'd accept half that of what he's been touting Pickford for and wouldn't see a penny of it, in fact he'd not see any of the first £50m they claw back in sales, so he resigned.

Pickford is really good like. We'd be buzzing if we had a keeper of his calibre or any youth player of equivalent quality in any position. He's Andy Carroll. He's late to blossom but a rare find. Potential is there but it could go either way. His fee will make no difference. It will be decent, however it just covers over 2 or 3 bad decisions, after that they lose.
  9. Rolf Harris released today and suddenly loads of drawings appear. Coincidence?
  10. Add Robertson to that and that's a really good British back line to build on.
  11. Looks like his hairline is about to leave the atmosphere.
  12. Are Hudds still coming for us?

0-5 did Moyes take charge for this one?
  14. Charlie Taylor is surely Ashley's wet dream.
  15. Happy with this. Nice start, nice early start. Another one before the window even opens would get us going.

Was there last week after relegation.
  17. Haven't Hull let in the most goals in the Premier League? Not as many as Clark and Villa last season.
  18. Wasn't that that cunt Junior Toilet who's now tearing it up at the mighty Cardiff under Colin Wanker? Na, it was certainly him. 2012 ish under Pardew. Found this, http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11678/8133382/newcastle-united-linked-with-transfer-bid-for-manchester-uniteds-joshua-king couple of sources saying we we're looking in to him, but remember that BR ITK saying he turned us down before BR finalised the deal.
  19. Didn't King turn us down to join Blackburn?
  20. Maguire & Robertson would be a good start. We've a few players on our books which would suit Hull now they are down as well.
  21. Think him going down again and again is a bonus in this scenario.

They'll not come back up next season, too much mismanagement from all levels to put right the wrongs in one go. They are probably looking at 2-3 seasons to see out all their bad decisions and hope in that time the owner doesn't let them go in to administration for his own gains. Realistically they need a new manager, one that the players and fans can both get behind and spread some enthusiasm around like Rafa did with us, however they can't afford to sack Moyes, and Moyes can't afford to walk away as he won't get another high paid job any time soon. They need a new owner & direction at board level, however they are now in their weakest position to sell the club than ever before; and as we all know have been actively trying to flog it for months now. It will be much harder as a Championship club, even then, what kind of investors will it attract at cut price? Blackburn, Leeds, Forest and a fair few others can tell tales of dodgy investors crippling their clubs further. Finally a whole new set of players. Ones on low wages, have youth on their side and futures in the game...Something they have very little of. Their best player is to leave for free whilst still under contract while one of their worst signings just raised the bar further as he'll still be collecting his £75kpw in the Championship as they didn't put a clause in his contract. Loans returning, half a team out of contract and finished plus losing £30m year on year as it is, it will take some effort to rebuild that in one go. Especially with lack of financial support from the owner, and daggers from the pissed off fans in the stands. Which bring me to my final point; matchday income. One of the biggest attendances yet smallest income from matchday. Free tickets and reductions sees the average price coming in at £11 per ticket. 38k official attendances in the prem but realistically knock 10k off that for what actually turned up the last two games. That will only get worse with relegation and Moyes sticking around. So really, for all their great escapes (which just pushed them further and further to the brink and to this fucked up situation) the biggest miracle they'll achieve under Short is coming back up at the 1st attempt. It's a long hard slog of a season coming up. You actually need a bigger squad in the Championship due to the bigger fixture list and less delicate players and poor refereeing, this means they are looking at a good 15-20 players through the door, each one of them being the correct type (wage/age/ability/personality) to make a good go of it. Good luck with that as historically they've never pulled that type of player before, why at their lowest point in over a decade will that start to happen now?
  23. This is why the fax still lives.
  24. Available for £10m apparently. Chelsea were also interested in Darlow (£8m) & Krul (loan) in the winter window to replace him should he go. Which one is available for £10m? I'd take Bergovic for that. Hart, no thanks. I think I'd rather keep Darlow. Bournemouth nearly had him for £10m in the last window, but Chelsea couldn't get a suitable replacement (they were looking at both our keepers) Begovic wants to leave, one prem start all season, 30, far too good for the support role. Reckon £5m + Krul would do it.
