I've just had a look at the news agency. They look like a proper, controlled Iranian news source. Could see the plausibility in no-one except a fluent Arabic (Persian speaking) person being able to read it. A few select articles are translated over to the English version, hopefully they will do this.
-
they are quoting an interview with a news agency.

For what its worth, this is probably todays news. Come back in three weeks for the next installment.
-
Yeah it does, although I think you might be whooshing

Been a while since I studied Iranian but apparently Manjoob is a fan of this forum and says he's spent many an Arabian Night laughing at the Kinnear dog. In that case I'll give him 10 laughs to thank him for his interest: :kinnear: :kinnear: :kinnear: :kinnear: More if he buys us.

Iran isn't such a bad country to be fair. If you look past ahmydinnerjacket and the clerics, the people are pretty sound.

What are the odds that NUFC have been done over by that 'fake Sheikh' again?
-
What are the odds that this guy seriously Mahjoob's it all up?
-
How the fuck does that square with 'I can say we are very close to completing a deal and it could happen next week.'? Someone else? Well the 'him' is supposedly Serious Handjob. So Llambias is going to meet him but it's early days and they haven't proved funds, but a deal (any deal) is close and could be done next week? Makes no sense. Its just the Sun putting two and two together though. It seems that this Mahoob has genuinely entered the race, and the Sun found out about this and stuck it together with the Llambias quotes. It doesn't mean that he is winning the race.

Done that. Came up with nothing. I thought you were a Geordie?
-
Agreed with Chez Given for once, English google might be no use for this guy. Could one of our Arabic posters please look him up?

Posts in this thread have made me shake with rage

Llambias: Hi guys, sorry Mike wasn't able to sell you this summer, potential buyers wouldn't let him, I'm sure you can appreciate it is all out of your hands. We asked Shearer but he wants to do MOTD thats out of our hands as well I'm afraid, but don't worry, Mike watched the SBR match on TV and has found a perfect inspirational manager for you. Here he is, Howard Wilkinson. Got to dash off bye.
-
Another conspiracy of mine is that he thinks he can get us back up if he can keep all the players here. he's going to block any move away, blame it on others when they complain, and then try to appease them with Shearer on Sept 1st.
-
The club rejected twice that in January.
-
He had better offers career-wise in January than the Arsenal offer and the DOF team rejected them.
-
We've been over this before. People are allowed to say that they are interested in bidding, they just aren't allowed to talk about what they see in the data room.
-
If he really is willing to drive the club to the ground to get back at the fans, perhaps he's trying to drive the players careers to the ground as well. If this happens, I can see the football league stepping in against him somehow
-
Or to rephrase that, Mike Ashley could afford to put the club through an "unofficial" administration. Take all the benefits of such a process without incurring the costs.
-
Ashley doesn't need to put the club into administration. Unlike other footballing examples, he can afford to service the debt and the bills. As he can afford this, he could negotiate higher priced sales than an administrator could as it is not an open firesale. He can the use these sales to pay off the debt to himself, rather than pay off Barclays etc. No fee has to be paid for the administrator. No points deduction is needed, therefore the club has a higher valuation than the administrators can get for it.

Who was your cousin, if you don't mind saying?
