When they were 22-23?
Took to long for Faye to get discovered by Europe to judge that.
As for Bramble, at that age he'd play well then have 30 seconds of madness in a few games, normally high profile at the start of the season. Then he'd settle down and be a rock for us.
Because he was a lesser player in a better side we under rated Bramble, and now the opposite applies and we over-rate Bassong.
I would endorse a complete public humiliation of Mike Ashley if all the players sat down in the centre circle at half time versus Shamrock and refused to play the second half.
Probably an innocent mistake.
If he genuinely wanted to performance enhance, there are so many things that he could have got away with due to the poor standard of doping control in football. Many footballers more guilty than Paddy Kelly out there, you just don't know who they are as football authorities wont try to catch them.
Agents generally do a lot more things for players than just football contracts. I guess footballers fell that as they earn so much, they are best off getting an agent to do stuff for them so they get the time off some of their other commitments.
im sure showing prospective buyers around is pretty standard. Not quite sure where you get desperate from. If potential buyers come to Newcastle to have a look around telling them to fuck off probably aint gonna get it done
Fair comment. I'm just surprised Llambias is doing anything to help, that's all.
The biggest surprise is that Llambias is showing them around. No-one apart from Harris is supposed to know identities until a bid has been accepted.
The club has been sold.
Like if we are looking at a short term tilt at the Championship, we can't go much wrong with Glen Little, Noe Pamarot, Jerome Thomas and may be even Djimi Traore.
Read Chez's post, they've come to an agreement with Sky for a new channel, and are negotiating with other UK platform providers, who would be Virgin, BT, and Top-Up TV.
