  1. I think we are all in the denial stage. What comes next?
  2. Aye, don't fully trust this ITK given that it seems to come from the media. I'd expect to see the private jet story, but I can see there being a lot of guessing still going on.
  3. Adams will become the new Portsmouth boss, I reckon.
  4. I must have missed something. Has it been confirmed that the "SOCKS BLOWN OFF" person was either Hughes or Redknapp. No but the same person who made the "socks blown off claim" follows up the story with a "Its 50/50 between Hughes and Redknapp" 1+1=... Someone with limited football knowledge could get their socks blown off by Redknapp or Hughes.
  5. By letting non-Newcastle fans vote. Oh. Well, that'd make sense. Though we can tell roughly (slight marginal error due to varying intelligence levels) what percentage of football fans wish ill on us (15%).

  7. Come on, show some genuine ambition people. Robert De Niro
  8. It's not new though. Very defensive and emotional that.
  9. What did I start with that Mark Hughes thread?

    WHO DARE????

Just reading his posts. He suggests glasses, but doesn't mention the sack. Most of his rage is aimed at Barton.
  11. someone has been saying lately how jealous they are of Evertons superior last decade to ours mackems.gif So he should be happy with Moyes, maybe he will blow his socks off. I think it was fredbob, but can't be bothered to look Not quite NE5, not quite. See what you wanna see. I havent got too much time for your constant sniping to be honest. It's getting a tad boring. Then don't retaliate. It takes two to tango.
  12. Not too clever. if the wrong people got fooled, it would have been impossible to shut them up, and it would have spread out of control.
  13. Its Paul Kemsley, Phillip Green and Mike Ashley.

    Martin Jol

It won't be Jol for the mere fact that Paul Kemsley - one of Ashley's closest confidantes, hates his guts.
  15. I just got a glimpse of this last line there, and it suddenly occurred to me. Harry-Norway for the Toon!
  16. If we did somehow manage to nab Jose and keep it quiet, I'd love it if we just called a press conference to unveil the new manager, and when the Press Conference starts, it is just Chris Mort, and then Jose steps through the door on live TV. I'd just love to hear the shock of the press people.

    Mark Hughes

Blackburn's chairman says no contact, but has been known in the past to deny things that are actually happenning.

    Mark Hughes

That would be making the assumption that Ashley and Mort have good knowledge of the game. They remain unproven, so you can't say how good or bad the appointment is going to be. Although I see Ashley as the type to do it his way how about assuming just like anything in business you research and you ask for opinion. Maybe I am being stupid thinking there is a chance Ashley will know who he wants due to him asking the right questions of the right people. Ashley is very much an outsider in the football world. There is no indication that he does know the right people, and even if he know's them, he may not trust them. The only person we know Ashley to know and trust is Paul Kemsley, who was keen on having Redknapp manage Spurs.
  19. Out of interest NE5, and I'm not trying to pick holes here, who would YOU like to see become the next Newcastle manager? Name as many names as you like.

  21. If no-one is appointed by Sunday, expect the latest thesis from theCoach.
  22. Leaving in summer. I would accept Keegan, if it's only till summer and then we would get a real top class manager. Like Hitzfeld, Scolari, Mourinho, Lippi etc. If that's the plan, why sack Sam?
  23. Of all the British names mentioned, only Moyes and Redknapp have managed top 5 Premier League finishes.
