Got 41 this gameweek prior to bonus points and assist updates. Wallace may get an assist for the saved free kick, and Drogba is a good shout for bonus points. Maybe even Tevez, Elano, and Richards too. Ronaldo cost me a few.

We are starting to develop a very multicultural squad.
-
I don't reckon he'll feature very often, and will be off next summer. Shame, as he seems a nice guy, but I can't see him getting past other players.
-
Like I said, you can play for Portsmouth and be very close to London and live in a nice house.
-
Midds SO alert. Have a jaffa cake son. Son? Be quiet or I'll change your name to 'Lost is shit'. Change it to Andrea.

West Ham players don't live in London anyhow normally, they live in nice South East pads. In that sense, it would be the same distance to London from where Nobby would live if he got a pad in Hampshire.
-
It will be Oliver Fowler picking up today's Sun.
-
No, it's the Times and the Sun who are co-owned. The Express and Star are also co-owned I think, while the others are all independent to one another.

Lots tied on three, getting Barton, Viduka, Geremi. Although two inexplicably got Viduka, Geremi, Smith or Viduka, Geremi, Faye.
-
Yep. Would also probably be first-choice right-back anyway. Will turn out to be Babayaro at Right back tbh.. Don't trust Chelsea, all we get from them is shit players who are past their best..

I got Geremi, Viduka and Barton

Written by Shaun Custis. Some on here have said that he is a big friend of Sam Allardyce, and is usually spot on regarding Allardyce stories.

This is like us at the start of almost every season.

This one confuses me. I'm sure I remember a lot of people here (most?) saying during last season that he was generally a bit clueless. Then he hobbles around for the U21s and scores a penalty, and suddenly he's Paolo Maldini. I may be wrong, like. I doubt it was most people saying he was clueless, a vocal minority perhaps. At times he was clueless, to be expected at his age playing with the players he had around him as well. Generally now he's considered a very good CB prospect who still has a fair bit to learn, I just think people are excited about him because we finally have a manager who we're confident can develop a prospect like Taylor. Although a Kluivert loving Canadian youth international was on here earlier hoping that Taylor would break a leg so that others could get a game.
-
Remember when you used to beg us to take Aaron Hughes back? Well please take Carr, he's a brilliant player.
-
Even better let there be two Newcastle's this season, West Ham being the others.
-
I've noticed recently actually that Taylor has suddenly switched from component of comedy defence to media darling in the national football press. Clearly a legacy of the U21 semi final.
-
In England, that means good luck, but I think you literally want him to break his leg don't you? James, the local bank.
-
Don't underestimate Anichebe Im not, I just think they need another good striker to add depth and competition. If they get the Yak they will get that. Johnson and Yakubu would turn out to be a good partnership imo. Nice blend of pace and strength. Anichebe is going to out perform both this season in my opinion.

I want a draw. Two points dropped for both sides, and NUFC still topof the league.
-
Lowest media prediction I've seen so far is Les Ferdinand saying we'll come 9th.

Against who exactly? Hardly going to be against Arsenal & Spurs as they'll be nowhere near Man Utd come May. These are motivational mind games, hoping us, Spurs and Everton will raise their game and get the occasional notch against Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool. Thats why I think he does it by the way, not fact, but Fergie always has a smaller team breaking the top 4, and that would be my suggestion for it.
