  2. Fair enough. I was kind of expecting whoever we went for being at around the 6'3" size given the other midgets in our team.
  3. 5'11" is tiny, I'm 5'10" and I'm a short-arse.
  4. Well not many decent midfielders go for less than £6m these days. Well not many clubs with the initials N and U can afford to spend more than £6m for a midfielder these days. Dyer is being sold for £6m I think that recoups majority of the Elano fee should we decide to go in for him. When it comes to affording players, I think Ashley will invest a fair share into transfer fees aswell. Any money we get from Dyer will probably go back into the defence.

  6. To be honest, if anyone thinks we can pay £7.4m for a semi-unproven midfielder, they are living in cloud cuckoo land.
  7. We've had good form with French/PSG left backs in the past, so this one is bound to fail.
  8. Would suggest that he did indeed only make a breakthrough towards the end of last season. Notice the second to Abidal comment. Was there a cryptic clue from Allardyce this weekend? What do you mean? That he wanted Abidal? "Along with Eric Abidal at Lyon he was regarded as the form left back in the second half of last season in France and he would now relish the opportunity to demonstrate his ability in England." He said this weekend that Abidal was the only transferred left back he would have wanted to buy. Now Drame is being described as second best to Abidal.
  9. Not even on the bench.

  11. We have to remember he's only 22. Last season could have been his breakthrough season as far as we know.
  12. He's made 33 appearances in past two seasons

  14. Are PSG the only club willing to sell to us without us activating minimum release clauses?
  15. Article loses all credibility when it says we are chasing Hangeland.
  16. I'm talking more about your attitude to things recently, you've become very impatient and very critical of even the slightest thing, in short you're becoming a "please me" type of fan. You using "Fat Sam" is a subconscious message saying "you haven't pleased me Sam, tut tut, for that you become Fat Sam" and to be frank it's fucking immature and does my tits in, especially coming from a normally sane and objective member like you who usually rises above such nonsense. Are you trying to psychoanalyse Baggio?
  17. Two points, Carr was not worth 8 and Pattison didn't play his best game for us, he did that in Shearer's Testimonial. I'm usually giving Carr 4's so the improvement has probably shocked me.
  18. Given 7 - Saved well, terrible distribution Carr 8 - Excellent last ditch anticipation, got forwards well Rozehnal 7 - Composed Ramage 7 - Solid Huntington 5 - Not a left back Solano 7 - At his best at times for touch passing and movement, but often went missing Geremi 8 - Mobile and effective N'Zogbia 9 - Confident, terrorising, passed the ball well Milner 8 - Gave Juve the runaround Martins 7 - Some of the best link up I've seen from him. Luque 6 - Good flick-ons and linkups, scored Carroll 7 - Brave and energetic. Scored. Dyer 7 - Excellent. Saved shot was actually a very good save by Buffon. Patisson 6 - Best NUFC performance, but not upto it. Troisi 6 - Did ok Edgar 7 - Solid Lough 6 - Being a natural left back, he was positionally better than Huntington Barnett - Was pretty invisible, due to Juventus onslaught at end.
  19. Put it this way: If Given, Carr, Rozehnal, Ramage, Solano, Geremi, N'Zogbia, Milner, Martins, Luque, and Dyer all played that well in every game they feature in this season, top six will be no problem.
  20. You seem to know quite a bit about Trezeguet, what's his favourite colour? Green I thought Green aswell. Does anyone else think Trezeguet = Green? Blue I reckon.
  21. We had the resilience of Bolton, but with extra pace and flair.

    Idiots booing Dyer

On the subs bench was a youth prospect that seems to be having a look around a few clubs to see who to join. What impression would the booing give him?

    Charlie Barnett

It is quite an easy mistake to make to be honest.
