West Ham was the final straw for me with Joelinton. We are 1-0 up and all he had to do was run 5 metres towards their full back to put him under a bit of pressure. Instead he just stood still where he was, their full back had all the time in the world to hit the ball forward and West Ham suddenly had positional dominance until Almiron came on 10 mins later. He’s either too thick or too lazy so given he’s got no quality either I hope we never see him on the pitch for us again.

The PL are not a cash rich organisation either, the operation is actually quite small. This could get very tasty, especially in the current climate. One things for sure other clubs will be fucking furious If the PL has the financial support of those other clubs they'll be alright. £10million off each of them should see them alright. Can't see many clubs happy to lose 10/20million just to keep the PL going. Would imagine if the PL lose and have a massive bill, the clubs would let them go to the wall and just set up a new league organisation...Ultra League or something along those lines Neither can I. That was a starting point. But I'm sure a scale could work. £50M a piece from Man U&C, Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal would do it. Wouldnt be permitted by PL rules Think the PL have shown that they are quite happy to ignore their own rules when it suits them. Also the mentioned clubs would probably the most reluctant to contribute anything to save them, considering they frequently try and argue that they should get a bigger share of the broadcasting money anyway This could be a way of negotiating such a deal. The clubs won’t be able to negotiate and agree. £20m could just be wiped off everyone. Which brings another problem - why would Leeds Fulham Brom pay for decisions taken when they weren’t members? Do you make Bournemouth Watford and Norwich suffer as a result? Did they even have a say

Interesting to consider how each club may react to different legal scenarios based on predicted baseline position. Definitely Support: Man City’, Newcastle, Sheffield Utd* Possibly Support: Southampton*’ Don’t give a fuck: Chelsea’, Leeds’*, Man Utd’*, West Ham’* Probably oppose: Arsenal, Aston Villa’*, Brighton*, Burnley*, Crystal Palace*, Everton’, Fulham*, Leicester, West Brom*, Wolves*’ Definitely oppose: Liverpool, Spurs The clubs with * are certainly likely to increase support and push for some agreement based on any credible financial threat. The clubs with a ‘ are the ones that will freak out if the issue of reviewing each clubs directors consistently, annually and in light with any new information. Because of that list I don’t think we’ll get our day in court, we will settle in advance and the PL Directors are dead men walking

Let me give you a few examples, which of these received the most racial hostility in these teams past and present? Aguero, Sterling, Mahrez, Mendy Ashley Cole, Drogba, Essien, Carvalho Dyer, Solano, Lua-Lua

I get that reaction but that’s because we are all rational non-racists. However it is clear to me having been seen the behaviour of football fans over the years that in terms of racial acceptance amongst footballing racists there are tiers that exist for which while unacceptable racism exists for all of these groups, South Americans are least likely to get hostile treatment and ethnic minority English players are most likely to get hostile treatment.

Murphy, Ritchie and Hendrick behind big Andy C with the fancy forrins on the bench. A strategy our very own Discman would be proud of Quite depressing to say but the racists in our fan base are more likely to accept Almiron and ASM than Murphy

He was great under Rafa. It’s a complete unknown if his body is still able to consistently deliver so it’s a good move for everyone

I suspect that the PL never did approve or refuse. But dependant on chain of events I’d imagine a lawyer could argue some sort of ‘constructive refusal’ situation where from our perspective it is refused. Of course Masters is going to be personally blamed when certain events in relation to this have been attributed to things he has personally said and done.

I don't understand how he could get money from it though - isn't it like suing someone with no money and they just have to pay you 15p a week? As I implied in my post above, the PL is a body purported to raise and distribute funds for its members based on whatever money it has left once expenses are paid. What would happen if we won in court is that the PL would legally have to send £X to us once received from sponsors, tv companies etc. The Premier League clubs would then each receive less money and Ashley would get the whole lot
