Someone in the takeover consortium just has to be watching all this and be demanding Bruce out haven’t they? Haven’t they?!

Leeds United Vs Newcastle United 16/12/20 - Live on Amazon Prime KO: 6pm

I’m not a huge fan of excuses generally but this one is force majeure, a lot of players have taken a knock to their aerobic fitness as a result of the virus and may now struggle with the run of games coming up. I fully expect us to be shit this week and it’s for a valid reason. It makes the WBA win an extreme blessing. -
He is one of a small group of players I’d want to see stay at club as a squad player with any ambitious takeover. The others being Wilson, ASM, Longstaffs, Schar and Dubravka. Perhaps Lewis and Fraser too but jury is out there.

Going forward please use this thread for significant deaths of the football world if you don’t want to start a thread on it. The Still Not Worthy Thread is not an appropriate place for this. RIP Gerard Houllier, your Liverpool time was a team I enjoyed watching growing up.

RIP great manager wanted him to come here at one point to be honest. By the way find it quite disrespectful that the celebration of someone’s life can be stuffed into ‘Not Worthy of a Thread’ with various trivial issues. I’m going to try to fix this now.

I think we will lose the next two games quite badly, COVID is going to be more of an issue as the games pile up

Got to remember to Foreign Office is not the Government. The communications may not even have made it up to Raab. As such the Foreign Office’s position is going to be more negative. Then you have the Trade Department and DCMS who have their own views. The Politicians job is to manage those differing priorities. As such the Chronicle article is Chronic.

Good luck finding him! I'll be amazed! Jack Colback? Andy Carroll by coming back has potentially gone this way too but not as badly as Owen
-
See Colin Kazim Richards scored for Derby last night. Thought he retired years ago so had to check it was him and not his son

Sorry it was in the Chronocle probably shouldn’t be referencing Ryder https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-united-covid-aston-villa-19378501.amp

The rules are that game must go ahead as long as we have a GK and 14 players. Shortstaff, Vilca, Scott, O’Connor all count as players due to playing elsewhere so we need 15 in isolation or all three keepers for the postponement to be permitted

I think if the PL said no the Government would close the PL down
-
Bruce will probably not check the league table and go all out defence

I’m guessing the role is more attractive than it was after Rafa left How so? Last time around the managers would have had to consider: Living up to Benitez and reputation all damage if they don’t No prospect of a takeover any time soon A side with no strikers who were about to splurge £60m on a striker and winger that Rafa didn’t want I think those three major red flags are not as severe as they were at that moment
