  1. Any good lawyer would have done their checks regarding other upcoming legal action being prepared that they can join with and or piggy back so I would imagine the fan movement has the blessing of those involved
  2. Think these are the separate group of individuals that had been threatening to take the league to court.
  3. This reads a lot like your GoT predictions. I was attempting this vibe the football forum people miss this side of me
  4. They all met yesterday at SJP to watch the match on TV and agree a transitionary relationship with it looking like the lawyers will eventually do their stuff. That’s why Ashley wasn’t there yesterday. Statement will be to announce Jamie Reuben as Executive Director (Commercial and Property) who will be working alongside Charnley. That’s my prediction.
  5. Thank you looking forward to it hope I’m not disappointed by its contents
  6. Cheers for that, interested to hear whether ‘all parties’ means NUFC or NUFC and PL but don’t feel that you have to answer my curiosity.
  7. Would love to see the stats for most ignored poster, it’s got to be me surely!
  8. HOWAY THE TOON Just for the avoidance of doubt they will all be wearing sombreros and serving pizza to the press
  9. Not only will it be 3pm Friday but Staveley, Reuben and Al Rummayan will each wear a tshirt saying ‘H’ ‘T’ ‘T’ respectively
  10. My theory is the PL are dragging it out as long as possible in hope it still goes away. They don’t want to approve it. It’ll get to xmas and near the window, we’ll be hanging around the bottom and with no sight of any movement from the PL the buyers finally call time. Ashley will sue the PL in 2021 and win, but they’d rather go through that and lose money than upset so many other parties. That’s possible and obviously our worse case scenario. We have to hope a potential legal settlement of 300 million plus is what pushes it over the line. This was Liam Kennedy’s take on a certain someone’s show last night. He said: “I wish I could tell everybody everything I know, but you can’t do that in these situations. “Things are ticking away. The legal cogs are turning, and things are happening. “That doesn’t mean we are all going to get the result that we want at the end, but it’s a positive in itself that everybody is still at the table. “Everybody [who] is part of the consortium, the legal team [and] other legal bodies [are there]. “Everybody is there, and they’re talking; the Premier League, Newcastle United, and Mike Ashley [and] Justin Barnes. “Everybody is there, and things are moving; I want to give more, but I can’t, unfortunately.” When he says we might not get the result we want at the end, I honestly think he was talking about them being forced to reject it. That obviously is not the result we'd want but at least it would be open to appeal. Not sure we have to remember that the club has effectively declared the bid rejected on constructive grounds.
  11. I'd be happier if Staveley employed other people to pick the manager tbh. Not sure she's a football "expert". Don’t take that use literally, I see Staveley as a figure head of a team which I’m sure incorporates football experts
  12. Best option would be to let Staveley pick the successor but install a break clause at end of season to allow all parties to get out of arrangement if takeover hasn’t happened
  13. Bruce will be gone soon. Staveley will have someone employed in an analyst capacity assessing the club and its match performance data. With Ashley’s permission they may even have unrestricted access to the training ground and medical data too. This analyst assuming they exist will be telling Staveley that Bruce is an increasing problem and this stuff will be getting fed back to Ashley and Barnes. This maybe the real source of Bruce’s outburst about his tactics before Burnley. This analyst would get Bruce gone eventually.
  14. Random Morecambe fact that despite that 12-0 turn around in both the league and cup, Morcambe are the first team in England for 27 years to top the league with a negative goal difference.

    Transfer rumours

Any agents we need to butter up?
  16. Probably two phases to legal action. Phase 1: get deal pushed through with threat of legal action. Phase 2: Ashley legal action. Clearly phase 2 is going to be more powerful if Ashley can point out that he’s lost his buyers and been left with an asset he can’t sell at market value
  17. It’s a painting of Adam Driver who played Kylo Ren in Star Wars. Kylo went back from the dark side to the light (black and white) and helped defeat the Emperor (Richard Masters) dawning a new era. We won!

    Agree, this kneads to stop
  21. The ITKs in question have a good hit rate and are demonstrating cautious positivity. It’s not a case of believing that X Y or Z will happen, just some justification for having some mere positive vibes. From there the first three points are indisputable and reason to have hope. The latter two points are my own random speculation on things so no one has to believe those! Nevertheless appreciate enough of us have been burnt enough times to no longer believe it.
  22. Take a step back from things for a moment and look at some cold hard facts from the last 48hrs 1. Ashley’s lawyer posted a photo on twitter with various items that could be connected to NUFC, unknown if this is a coincidence 2. Two forum posters with a good ITK track record said they heard some positive steps had been taken 3. Ashley’s helicopter and several private aircraft arrived in Newcastle yesterday. Whilst all could be coincidence or we are being led along by the PL again there is enough there for people to be optimistic. Going into conjecture here: 1. Bruce’s meltdown last week - seemed to come out of nowhere really. Could it have been that he’s been told that prospective owners have been monitoring his performance and aren’t pleased? 2. All coincides with the closure of the transfer window. Why is this significant? I believe this is the longest the PL could have delayed us without going to court. In this situation the PL could argue to the other 19 clubs and BEIN that they couldn’t legally stop us, but they did manage to prevent the new owners from having access to an unusual window where clubs needed to sell players and at same time are immune to FFP restrictions.
