There isn’t. He’s making a joke because Napoli were rumoured to be interested in him. Fucking hell

Plane been diverted to Naples because of the snow
  3. For me he’s a bit reminiscent of Woodgate, a great defender but leaves a gaping hole as a result of some rather prolonged injuries.

It’s moments like this when I miss Skirge
  5. i asked the exact same thing and have yet to see a suggestion you might argue that an allardyce might be able to work with the defence we have and rondon up front but i honestly don't see how you get more out of this squad in the areas that rafa is currently struggling with no one is gonna get this group of players playing like wolves or whatever, not a chance in hell, so what so critics of rafa actually want? I don’t even know what someone like Allardyce could do with the defence, aren’t we already one of the best in the league defensively? Our limitations are purely attacking, because offensive players cost money.
  6. Huh? Light aircraft crash around once a week in UK airspace, sometimes more often - not all lead to death but over water your chances of survival are next to none. you’ll just never read much about it unless there’s a celebrity on board or in your local newspaper. These statistics are in fact down from previous years, proving flying is in general a safe mode of transport. There will always be aircraft accidents - there’s nothing the government of the world need to do. Around 25 (minimum) private chartered aircraft land at my work everyday Mon-Fri, and there hasn’t been an incident (touch wood) for years. Unless I’m mis-interpreting what you mean, I don’t see how any action I should required to stop an ‘escalation’. Anyway, awful news. Agree it’s safe but at the same time the more people can afford these flights and want to take them the more incidents are going to occur with needless risk to life. Better regulation is going to be needed going into the future.
  7. It’s very sad. Private aircraft are becoming more affordable or available to the slightly less rich and famous, and geographical needs increase the demand for such trips. Just on a fixed probability basis this is going to increase the occurrence of these tragedies. Increased demand also means increased pressure on planes and pilot availability so the probability may increase a little too. I hope Sala and the Leicester owner’s deaths haven’t been in vain and that the coroners and air accident investigators and more generally the governments of the world speak out and act promptly to stop an escalation.
  8. Most of them seemingly were Robson buys strangely enough
  9. Aye but that’s not the pull is it? It’s the former title winners wanting to actually be a project that may appeal. I’m not saying it’s the main pull being talked about but it’s clear that there are quite a few individuals lacking geographical awareness!
  10. Leicester is only 30 mins closer by car, and 10 mins further away by rail. There is hardly a geographical pull here!
  11. He’s stupidly good. Yet Rafa gets slated for his transfer record. He's bought Fernandez, Lejeune & Schar for the price of a Nathan Ake. And all are better. We actually have one of the best bunch of centre backs in the country. Ciaran Clark is a fucking amazing 5th choice centre half. It’s because it’s the only position where players are still within Ashley’s 2009 transfer budget parameters

    Transfer rumours

I have a 2 year old and I waited until my career progression had settled a bit into my 30s. It’s the wise way of doing things.

    Transfer rumours

That is two players now Kenedy being the other one who are supposedly adversely affected by having babies. Yes it’s a basic right, but they are at the peak of their careers and if they had half a brain could wait until their 30s once their career has nearly finished.
  14. My personal view is that the pair did well enough with the club performance wise to justify the money they took.
  15. In retrospective balance, Shepherd was a fairly good chairman...
  16. FYP. It’s not even that, ruling out each plan on money ground rules out dozens of other similar priced players. Joselu was probably 700th choice.

Not sure what state Nasri is in but subject to tests surely an 80k a week deal until end of season may boost our offensive options
  18. All we have to do is look at the transfer reality to realise how well Eafa has done. The only affordable good players as far as Ashley is concerned are defenders, and in this instance Rafa has built one of the best defences in the country, strength in depth too. Imagine he was allowed to pay the going rate for midfielders and strikers too.
  19. If he knows al the media(wich he probably does) why hasn't he denied it to anybody if he's not interested in a takeover. What's in it for him being linked with us if it's not true? Has anybody in the media asked him? Fuck off man. You know the media right? The fuckers who will tap phones to get a story. "No we thought we didn't want to bother Peter, he's a busy man." There is a NDA, that's why he's saying fuck all and that's why we know fuck all. You don't sign the NDA if you're not interested to buy the club. And signing the NDA doesn't mean you can't say you're interested or not. It means you're not allowed to to leak information about what you find out when checking the books. Or am I wrong? The NDA will be bespoke so you agree to not say whatever’s in the NDA. So no way of knowing
  20. Should have gone for Paul Clement
  21. You can tell Dubravka has never really played English football their goal was text book lower league and he got completely caught out He’s made up for it elsewhere though
  22. Lee Charnley must be salivating at the thought of updating his Europe Qualification = Relegation Technical Note

    Kieron Dyer

To be honest I respect him more in hindsight with his achievements at Newcastle overcoming great personal adversity. So no title change needed
  24. James

    Paul Dummett

I have a feeling that should we suddenly get megabucks and win the Champions League it would still be with Dummett left back.

    England

How can you not trust Stones he was one of the best centre backs at the World Cup!
