First bet in a couple of months today. Some tricky fixtures like and went all Premiership today Villa/Fulham, Palace, Hull, Norwich, Chelsea - £5 returns £405
-
I think the crowd will turn today if we take a good beating (which I am expecting). Be prepared for the backlash from the national press/media tomorrow though if it does happen. How dare we call for the man who has done a great job with his hands tied, has us 8th with no relegation threat etc to be sacked, what do we expect. They have no idea.

Norwich still have Fulham away after that plus Arsenal at home on the last day. Norwich are very hard to beat at home. They will get another win somewhere along the way, even if they don't against West Brom. If Cardiff beat Palace at home this weekend they could post a threat to them teams. Cardiff have Palace and Stoke at home to play, plus us and the mackems away which are all winnable. Its not very likely but I see them as more likely that the mackems now, they can score goals. Sunderland are well gone for me, the fact that their last 3 famous 'winnable' home games come at the end, fucks them up even more. Barring a miracle, their goal difference and confidence should have taken a battering.

I see Bruce is still getting some of the blame

35 minimum. Sunderland are totally fucked.

Despite that late Cardiff goal its been an awful day for them with Palace winning. I think they'll get beat on Monday. West Ham will go for the draw playing defensive which the mackems struggle against at home. Definitely got a Nolan or Carroll goal from a set piece written all over it.

Dummett has done nowt wrong to deserve losing his place tonight. -
If they go down they could probably actually do with keeping some of the players who's contracts are up. The likes of Bardsley, Gardener, Larsson would surely be important players in that league.
-
It seems people seem to be convinced they'll stay up because the teams around them are so bad and keep getting beat. Sunderland are below them teams because they are even worse, and they're dropping every opportunity against the teams around them. If anything, these 'winnable home games' people keep going on about are more winnable for the away teams. Take away them two derbies man and they're absolute rock bottom. They might even finish bottom still. I don't think they will, but for me they will not beat West Ham, West Brom or Swansea at home.
-
Ok fair enough. Needs to get back to his best Santon quickly, he's been running my patience thin for a while now.
-
Santon like Cafu compared to Dummett? Maybe if you're comparing them at the best of their ability, Santon has been average to shit for me for a while now. He doesn't deserve to start in my opinion.

Just looked and I think Palace and West Brom will get to 35 points. The thing is, you can see Palace grinding out some results despite how shit they are. Sunderland just look fucked. They can't beat Palace at home, Norwich and these are massive games where they need to win. They won't get a point against any of the top half teams for me. The only team I would sway towards them winning is Cardiff at home.
-
Really can't see 34 being enough. I don't think Sunderland will even get to that mind.
-
I reckon they'll get beat of West Ham in a disgusting scrappy match. Today has made me 95% sure they're going down in my mind.
-
I don't see how people are saying only 3 wins. They're on 25 points, 34 will not be enough. Assuming the 3 wins come at home, where do these draws come from?
-
Fucking love Rob Lee. You can tell how much he loves the club in his write ups in the local rags as well.
-
Pretty much certain our match on the final day will be on Sky. Can see Liverpool being right up there on the last day and Sky love this fixture.

Fulham v Newcastle United- Saturday 15th March@15:00 (Not on TV)

Not sure this result will have much impact on the mackems. Even if we get beat I think Fulham have fucked themselves by not beating Cardiff. Really can't see them getting a good enough amount of points on the board from where they are now. Surely 18th spot is going to be between Sunderland, West Brom and Palace. If Palace beat them this week then they'll be fine. I would be massively surprised if Cardiff can get a run going together. -
Hendo is the only mackem getting near a Wembo pitch again this year

We Would Be Confident Of Beating 3 Out Of The 4 Semi-Finalists.

They're all very beatable if we actually gave a fuck. Even Arsenal are beatable. Not under this regime though.
