Saggy reckons he's got a calf strain, probably just a cover up like.

Blackpool, QPR, Reading, Watford, Wigan - Fiver returns £205 Great offer from Sky Bet this season, put a fiver accumulator on every weekend and get a free fiver bet on the following Monday. You have to keep up with it every weekend to get the free fiver bet though. Was available last season but only to new customers, anyone can do it now.

That'll see Bents departure and probable arrival here speeded up now I'd reckon.

Bent would be even less suited than Cisse at playing the number 10 role, absolutely no chance in gods earth.

I don't agree with this at all. We're pretty much equally attractive unless a player is really interested who the DOF is. We got some quality players in recently and JFK is the only real question mark over whether we'll continue to do so. We as fans see nothing but negativity right now, and from what I have read/heard so far from outsiders, they see exactly the same. Jamie Carragher has tipped us to be right in the thick of it today because of the mess. I met football fans at Glastonbury and they were laughing their heads off about JFK asking what the fucks going on. We're not an attractive option to a player when the likes of Everton come in right now. Everyone is rightly laughing at us about JFK, that's fair enough. I just don't think players will be as bothered, especially considering the other very positive aspects of the club (teammates, ground, fans etc). Surprised to here Carragher tip us for a relegation battle, would have thought a neutral would put down last season as exceptionally bad. Aye, his reason is because of the mess with the JFK situation, not the ability of our players. I feel the same right now, only some new players can lift the place.

Doesn't matter how late we were, if you aren't a Newcastle fan then only an idiot would turn down Everton for this club right now.

I remember reading an interview in The Mag with KK about 8 years ago and he said he'd never return to football to be a DOF as he found the whole thing of undermining a manager wrong. Foward a few years...

Don't think I'll watch that Keegan interview off Sky for a while now, it'll just make me more fucking angry. Our clubs fucking disgusting now. -

What goods a player who has very good ability but has a manager who can't get the best out of him, makes him look average and always looks unhappy? He's no use to us while Pardew is manager. Its sad but Pardew makes him look shit. -

Could Anita & Sissoko not work? To be honest I think if we're gonna play a 4-3-3 it might be more about getting the right player in to fit alongside them two. Sissoko and Anita have a lot going for them. We do need a goalscoring threat from the middle, someone with a bit of power alongside Sissoko maybe which would allow us to get away with playing Anita who struggles on the physical side. You also have Marveaux who can play instead of Anita who offers a totally different option. I don't think we should be looking for another player the size of Cabaye though. -

If we had a decent owner and manager we could get rid of Tiote and start again signing two new central midfielders who actually compliment together and will fit in the system that suits us best. -

I might be in a minority here who thinks if we get £15m for him then I won't argue. I like Cabaye a lot but Pardew is going nowhere unfortunately and we've witnessed with our own eyes that Pardew doesn't seem to know how to use Cabaye in our team. He will be no major loss while Pardew is manager, which is depressing in a way but he will never be utilised to his strengths in a Pardew team. With a better manager he would be a great player, but we don't have a great manager. -
That was on here wasn't it? Spoke to lads I know around that age and got that sort of opinion on him, certainly on here as well though aye

What really annoys me now is when I speak to some younger fans aged 19-20 who won't be able to remember anything at all really about KK's first time as manager, I've had some right arguments with a few of them about KK. They only remember his brief 2nd spell as manager and I've heard some shite about him being the bottler who left in 97 because he couldn't take the pressure and how he tried to bankrupt the club when he took Ashley to court. I should just bite my tongue but it really fucking winds me up. Its impossible to explain to anyone exactly how good it was under him. I'd let him live with me rent free forever.
-
Its just fucking when you think back how ideal the situation seemed at the time. KK came back, we had this billionaire owner who we thought would give KK the backing he required and the fans couldn't have been happier. I remember being absolutely blown away when we were 2-0 up against Sunderland in the home derby in 2008, the whole stadium singing "up the Premier League we go", it was just perfect for a short spell. I won't have anyone convince me KK deserves criticism for his departure from the club.
-
Does it really have to work like that though? SBR had one up at Ipswich before his death, Fergie, I think Arsenal will end up having the whole invincibles lineup around The Emirates in the next 10 years.

I fucking love him. Absolute hero. I don't mean this in any negative way towards Sir Bobby who done wonders for this club, but if you're talking about building statues at SJP, Kevin Keegan should have been ahead in the queue, he deserves a statue for what he done for our club.
