Pardew/Keegan debate

If he's not better then the level we seen him in 2010 was certainly as good as, and there's definitely room and time for improvement. I loved Ferguson as well, him and Shearer were brilliant in the limited time they had.

You put Keegan in charge of this Newcastle team and we would have more points on the board now.

Duncan Ferguson is probably a good comparison, although I think Carroll is a better player than him, potentially much better, we might never see it though. Ferguson was a monster on his day.

I think he's done a good job this season overall. I'm no Pardew lover, and I think the 2nd half today was a classic example of Pardew shitting himself, but you can't argue with the points total. He's had luck yes, but he's also had some against him as well, last week being a recent example. He's not the man long term, but we won't do much in the foreseeable future with this cunt of an owner. We're fucked until Ashley goes, our limit will always be outside of the top 4 with the current strategy. Sad, but true.

Don't understand how anyone on here can knock Carroll as a player when fit. He's a brilliant centre foward WHEN he's 100%. You can laugh at the price tag and his fitness record, but he was a beast for us and would be again if he could stay fit.

Can't see us having a winger lined up, Gouffran has made the left side his own, Be Arfa hasn't been getting in the team, and as long as Cabaye is around and Tiote keeps his form up I think he will see Sissoko as an extra right midfielder.
