It could go either way really. It could make him work his bollocks off or it could inflate his ego making him think he's some sort of wonderkid and set him back in terms of progress. Getting compared to Gazza when he's 16 years old then getting 10 minutes in Europe might have the negative effect on him. If he's got anything about him he will work his bollocks off regardless and we should see a bit of him in the next season or two.

There is absolutely no reason to play a 16 year old lad. We all hope he can be even 25% as good as Gazza or whatever comparisons people want to make of him, but lets not get carried away. As nice as it would be for him to get a run out and impress, i think we should let him develop more. If he is good enough his quality should shine through and he will get a run out next season.

I think Nobby will take them when he's on the pitch most of the time still. Look at it in a positive way. Just scoring a penalty after his miss against Everton might be a big psychological boost for Martins when it comes to taking penaltys, so hopefully Nobby will take them all from now on while he's on the pitch, and if Nobby is injured then Martins can take them with that miss at Everton well out of his head now. Thats trying to be positive anyway.

Well we've obviously got two penalty takers. I couldn't give a fuck as long as they score, and thankfully we have scored all but one penalty this season as far as i can remember.

Silverware or not, he is the clubs all time greatest goalscorer, and arguably the clubs greatest ever player. He deserves it. The timing might be wrong like but he deserves it no matter what.

We need a 3rd goalkeeper. 2 is not enough. True, but the 3 keepers don't have to include Krul. Pav looked awful against Bolton like. We could easily go out and get another keeper as 3rd choice for next season and loan Krul out. I bet that next season we won't even use 3 keepers throughout the whole season. This season has just been a freak season with regards to our keepers injuries. Caig only made the bench a handful of times when he was here. Just get a stop gap in like he was and give Krul the games he needs on loan.

We've struggled to even find 5 fit players for our bench this season.

What is wrong with Spurs fans? The other day a Spurs fan was going off it saying Dawson is better than Woodgate as well.

A fit on form Owen is easily in the top 10 strikers in the Premiership.

It'll be better for Krul to go out on loan next season than to sit on our bench. Personally i would have Harper on the bench anyway. Harper is a good keeper. He's made a couple of mistakes this season but i wouldn't even call the one at Anfield a mistake really. It was more of a freak accident where he fell over, than a goalkeeping error. Was a shit kick on Saturday which lead to Bellamy scoring like but the pitch didn't help, and we've seen Given do that before. Krul was brilliant against Palermo but i think it is a bit of a knee jerk reaction for people to think he is the 2nd best keeper at the club. I remember not long ago there was a poll on here asking if Krul will be a better keeper than Given.

Ramage gets away with it cos he gives 100% and he loves Newcastle. I don't think he looks any better than the likes of Steve Caldwell did when he first broke through, and look where he is now.

I can't believe anyone would leave Milner out of the team after the way he's played this season. He's got quite a few assists, he's now scored a few goals and he works his arse off. I think some people forget how young Milner is cos he seems to have been around for so long. He can still improve a lot further as well.

N'Zogbia has frightening potential though. He's only young. Duff hasn't had any luck really. I think Duff might come good, but i'd hate to see him hold back N'Zogbia. I trust Roeder to know what he's doing though.

I really do not see why people rate Distin highly. We could do a lot better imo. Viduka is quality but he's a crock we could do without and he's not getting any younger.

No point in extending SJP. Its the perfect size for us as it is.

Depends who goes down for me so i won't single out players but i will say a right back, left back and centre back (Gooch if he impresses) to partner Taylor. The foward 6 are excellent. If we could only sign 3 players in the summer though then i wouldn't sign a right back. I would sign a left back, centre back and a striker. Nobby is more than capable at right back and although ideally we would sign a natural right back, i think the other 3 positions are more urgent for us.

I'd have Milner as one of the mainstays in the team now. I've been very impressed with him this season, but i've always rated him anyway. I couldn't believe it when we were gonna sell him to Villa.

Haha i forgot about Ameobi. I don't really rate him but i'd have him on the bench. Hopefully West Ham go down and we can get Ashton.
