I just can't believe people are actually singling any of our players out for the blame. None of them were awful. Take it on the chin and move on. We've got a more important match on Saturday coming up and the next couple of weeks are going to shape our season. Get behind the lads rather than making any of them scapegoats.

He's done a decent job. I think he definitely needs a loan spell out though and he needs to bulk up a bit but that will come. Credit to him.

BTW I thought our worst player tonight was Dyer. I'm not blaming him though cos he's clearly unfit. Some of his passing was very wayward and he just didn't really get in the game apart from a couple of runs maybe. The rest of the midfield done ok, and our defence was very good i thought.

We need a left back and a striker in at the very least. We are desperate for a right back, but i'd be happy to keep Nobby there as a stop gap. I doubt we will bring in a centre back until the summer like. We are desperate for players in most areas but the question is which positions are we most critical in.

I've heard him say good things about Bellamy and Gillespie since they left the club. If he started singling out his ex-team mates for praise then he'd be getting moaned at again.

He's a 19 year old centre back playing at right back in his 3rd EVER SENIOR FIRST TEAM appearance, in front of a stadium full of expectant fans. His passing was sloppy, but i put it down to nerves. Looking at our forthcoming fixtures i think we will do well to stay in the position we are in now. If we can just stay between 10-12th until the middle of January then we can hopefully push on in the 2nd half of the season. Anything is possible. Most of the teams in this league are so poor that we have every chance of pushing for Europe at the end of the season. We can't get too carried away though, and we will not finish in a Champions League position. No chance.

The way some people have slagged Roeder off for "wasting" money on him i think he has a bit of a right to keep doing it.

Who gives a flying fuck if his all around game is not perfect yet? He's a young lad and he's doing the most important and hardest thing of all the things you have to do on the pitch which is score goals. As far as i am concerned he could stay here for 10 years and play like that if he banged in 2 goals a game. Strikers job?=Score goals. Job done.

Don't think Ramage will get much better. Only seen Huntington against Blackburn and Chelsea so its far too early to say anything about him. Taylor can actually be great though definitely. He's on form now, and he's toned down a bit on the amount of stupid challenges he does. If he can wipe them out of his game completely, then in years to come he can be one of the Premierships very best. Down to him.

I don't know how fit Clarkie is, but we might well be finding out soon if things get much worse.
