Feck why is no one ever at the far post!

Even though Malick did multiple videos that I have watched, commentators constantly making me secondn guess myself mispronouncing Thiaws name. Uninformed bastards.

His hold up play is fantastic, albeit its normally coming 15-25 yards deeper than we need it. As long as we have other players bombing ahead in lieu it can work. Love his no nonsense attitude and when he is up to Howe conditioning he is going to be like taller slower Gordon all over the place. Doesn't score with his head though.

He is looking for the right role and project. Decent article from a couple of months ago. https://www.sportsnet.ca/mls/article/john-herdman-keeping-busy-while-he-looks-for-next-coaching-job/ Pure conjecture but I feel like he fancies betting on himself managing a mens team but the project here at his club and moving home would surely appeal. The money would have to be right but if he was looking at Plymouth we can probably match? As to the PR of hiring a guy. I don't see it. Purely due to his success and pedigree managing women previously, albeit only internationally. Its one thing hiring a guy with no background but his is hard to argue with, imo. Something will have to give with Langley, she looks out of her depth at the moment. She does have another high turn over of players which is hard but the basics seem to be missing along with any ability to effectively adjust the gameplan.

Our decision making in passing is poor. 0-0 at the half.

Yikes. We are blowing the biggest opportunity to got up. The extra promotion place is two seasons isn't it? Or is it just this year?

I don't know. I like the guy. He is definitely a bit of snake oil salesman. If the players drink the coolaid then he normally has a good run of results. He wasn't a disaster for TFC but I wasn't convinced by him. A win percentage of around 33% i think which given the mess of a club TFC was and is, isn’t too shabby. I dont think he stacks up tactically for top grade club management. Drone gate really put a definitive end to knowing, so far at least. I would love to see him at our women's team though.

Emery seems like an absolute princes. Toys out of the pram on a regular basis at the moment. Usually a sign of deflection that a manager knows they cant turn a bad situation around. All teams and managers are going to have rough spots. So glad we have a manager that will act with class in all situations.
-
He has totally lost it though. Looks like he has thrown in the towel and is losing the dressing room. Its not like they can freshen up the squad now. Walking out of the game early today and then laying into his players isnt going to endear him to anyone.
-
Aye. So great to have him back. Even early on he was beating their winger with ease and must have been the most fouled player in the first half!
-
A lot of our players either seem to panic or just not concentrate enough when it comes to final balls, killer passes. Hall had a bunch today, lots did and lots have this season and last. We do the hard work and turn the ball over or overhit it far too regularly. Build up play good. Killer passes not there, even when we have the time to do so. Frustrating.
-
Not convinced he is cut out for club management but I dont think he would do worse than Becky. Also think he would jump at the chance. I am reliably informed he has been watching our progress via drone for the past 3 years, so will be ready if we ask.
-
He is sprinting full speed towards a cliff age wise but damn, he isn't wrong when he said on international duty he feels he is getting better with age. Absolute rock today and bombing forward late on was impressive.

Don't disagree in an ideal world, but Tonali needs a break. At least one of them will need to start unless we are changing formations again. I dont really want to see Willock again although he probably needs it. I guess Hall could cover? -

Joe needs resting given injury history and I expect both start on Weds with Tonali getting rested. -

Worst of the back three but only because Botman and Burn have been on top form. Going to be useful. Thiaw for now. -
