  1. He started following cum gargling also. He is just OCD, needs to clean everything up.
  2. Let's hope the doumbia medical comes through ok. Think we are putting all eggs in the berahino basket. Think the left back situation is dead in the water after plan a and b snubbed us. We will probably chance our arm with another Gibbs bid though. Slightly more anti climatic than we hoped but I guess it's some consolation we are actually somewhat involved.
  3. Pearce came to training with his golf clubs then unleashed Bellamy on berahino. No move for you.
  4. Dissapointed it's not to a championship club. Gouffran next PLEASE!!
  5. Good man! Good luck! ..will never see him in a newcastle shirt again lol.
  6. Dembele has nothing to do with a spurs bid surely? Different players and spuds were signing dembele and immediately loaning him back. Striker for the future.
  7. It was never going to be anything other than rejected. They have clearly told us what they want. We are just playing games and chancing an arm. Almost certain we will go back before 11 tmrw. Don't think it will be that far off getting him either if no one else comes in.
  8. Can see us upping our bid. Likewise spurs coming in for him and another surprise club like Liverpool getting him and sending benteke the other way.
  9. Both clubs know there is time left in the window. Its up to us to decide whether to pay extra now or move on. West Brom will hold out til the last minute tmrw imo. (Leaving themselves a bit of time to get someone else in. My only flaw in the not selling to premiership rivals theory is, if we will likely spend that money on someone that will have at least an equal impact why wouldn't you take the money for a player you won't play and improve your squad with the money.
  10. But we can..he is on a free right now.
  11. Aye. We desperately want him (an a list target). Think we will stretch to 25m. Can see this being a long 24 hours or so.
  12. They absolutely won't get more for him than this window. Comes down to his value to them playing from now to season end, the, the value of him not playing for someone else and a large dose of Pearce's personal pride. Again I don't think this will be accepted or close, otherwise it wouldn't have broken, he would be on his way. Club trying to force west broms hand, it won't work. It still boils down to a petty game between agent/berahino and pearce trying to let everyone his club has balls, even if it costs him 5-10m in the process.
  13. Alot depends on if they come from the newcastle school of transfer planning or not. Do they have people lined up spend some of hat 21m tmrw to replace him? If they are adamant they don't want to sell, then probably not.
  14. Think he needs a rest and we need four/five quality strikers to choose from. Can't see him leaving this window. Moot point as the above really isn't happening. Just isn't how we do business normally. We only find out when the player is on his way.
  15. Will be rejected. Almost certain. That's the problem with this type of nonsense. Do bids that get reported ever actually get accepted? It's one side blowing smoke to fans or to pressure the situation. Smacks of rooney this.
  16. Jordan rhodes move fell through. Might yet be plan g.
  17. Lol already been assured they won't sell to us. Funny if they changed their mind and said sure we will take it. Ashley and co. Might collapse. But we weren't serious....
  18. Absolutely fine with throwing cisse at them. Not sure how we could given he will still be injured for a bit. Giving them riviere is our only other option. Slightly different playing hand.
  19. It's not so much that he is terrible. More that he would only be added the squad and isn't the type of striker we need. I'm much more happy about it if he comes in with doumbia. Gomis would certainly be more a lovenkrands/best signing than a harewood/kuqui if we get him. I think he would contribute if called upon and would probably surprise a few. Should in noway be coming in to dislodge Mitro though, I hope.
  20. I am working on the foolish but only logical explanation that we are bringing Doumbia in as well. Gomis will compete with Mitro and replace permacrock Cisse. There was talk of loaning Riviere out to Forest a while back wasn't there. A run somewhere else in the UK would make a lot of sense. Wouldn't Riviere be the player to compete with Mitro though ? Doumbia most definitely in as the rapid/finisher player. As of right now he is, but I don't think there is anyone here that has any belief he could actually compete with Mitro. Better to loan him out to a championship side so he can actually get games and the proper chance to adapt to English football, bring Gomis in as cover. Doumbia would gives us something we have missed since Martins..but hopefully with a bit more intelligence. Worrying he hasn't played in a while though, don't know how long it would take him to get match fit.

  22. Much rather we bid 7m for Gayle and Swansea kept Gomis tbh.
  23. Seriously no point unless it's a loan and we get doumbia. Even so underwhelming to the extreme.
  24. Not least because he hasn't played in two months.might get him match fit for March.
  25. Well with Toney out for months, cisse permcrocked and riviere permanent shit I would rule out bringing them both in. If we get doumbia I could handle gomis as back up for Mitro. But can't see swansea loaning him and him wanting to exchange benches.
