This will be a crusher for Southampton given how hard they have worked. Tough.. I'd like Southampton to stay up other than Hughes being there. Likewise Palace other than Jordan.

That's better

Arsenal are such a shit show. Will probably put 5 past us next week.
-
At his best when he keeps it simple and isn't trying to dribble it out. Great performance and partnership forming with Jamaal though

Fuck they are 7 points now. They are catching up when no one is looking. Panic.
-
And no f**ker else to pick up points. It happen .

The Gayle/Maguire incident was the best. If that had been shelvey instead of Maguire do you think they would have handled it the same. Would they fuck. Would have been "silly boy" "why has he done that" "lucky to get away with a yellow" "this is why he isn't in the England squad." The agenda is horrific. Even said jonjo "has as many reds as goals this season" without adding context but turning that into a spiel about his discipline. Woeful. Surprise we got backed for the penalty call.

Similar to Mitro he can't help himself but endear himself to the fans but not in the way alot of managers would like. Too many managers can't handle the ego trip of having someone more of a focus than themselves. On the flipside also other managers don't like the distraction they cause. Don't see him back here so would love to see him at one of the Canadian MLS teams. Montreal would be a great move and a likely fallback if Leicester or other top league clubs dont pan out this summer.

Took a huge pay cut to go to LA. Said he wanted to go before Manure but it didn't work out. Fair play to him.

Can't believe this lot are actually going down. Bare minimum they have to win 3 of their last 6 right and hope the two above them don't pick up any points. Thought they would scrape out like normal. Fair play if they fluke it out from this position.

Reunion in Montreal with Garde? While I am a whitecaps fan I would still love this. Giovinco vs Hatem would be glorious. https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2018/04/03/hatem-ben-arfa-mls-hes-welcome-here-says-montreal-coach-remi-garde

Anita wanted to leave. Yeah, a shame. He would have been far more valuable in the squad this year than manquillo. That said you get what you pay for and manquillo has done exactly what we expected him to.

RIP Ray. Fond memories of him at QPR.

Can imagine him flaunting himself in front of MLS club's as a next move. He will fancy that more easy money.

I recall Ben Arfa having plenty of detractors, who hated Ginola and Robert?? Who are these old timers you speak of, young man? Who specifically? Just people I sat next to and/or met. It was always about them not tracking back or being lazy. Hindsight's a wonderful thing where Ginola's concerned, like. He was booed when he came back to St James' Park, presumably by the same knackers, but that seems to have all been forgotten and he's now rightly remembered fondly. Yeah, my uncle hated Robert due to 'laziness and indiscipline'. He couldn't understand why I loved him. Ginola was even more frustrating to many, often trying to beat a man in his own half and losing the ball. I was young, but I remember joining in with the frustration aimed at him from the terraces. Your uncle Graeme? They were both game changers (Robert and Ginola), so much so their deficencies were easy to ignore. As fans we are always going to gravitate towards the snowboaters if they back it up like they both did. I love Perez and as mentioned his work rate or even skill isn't in question. I think he is often a little lightweight but it's a valid point how much he has been marked. He looks innefective in the 10 slot because of that. He looked best as a wide forward and has actually arguably been better when played up top than our other forwards. The former isn't an option under rafas tactics and there are better options on the wing. He feels a bit like a square peg waiting to find his best role. Either way we need to upgrade 1-2 (depending on Slimani) upfront and a new number 10. Be mad to sell ayoze though.

If you had of asked me a year ago: Stoke: Butland, Shawcross, Martins indi and shaquiri We don't need Butland if we keep Dubravka, Shawcross and Martins indi haven't had a good year. Shaquiri is a nasty piece of work but a great player. Not sure if he would be a rafa player. West brom: nope Southampton: ward-prowse, tadic, boufal, Bertrand, possibly Redmond.

So they now will have had more managers than wins this season?
-
If he puts in performances at this level until the end of the season he will be on the plane with England imo. Or certainly should be. The talent isn't the question. The consistentcy in form and self discipline is what has held him back from being picked imo.

It is another morale boosting win, even if the performance was rocky at times. Taking that to Leicester is great, if we could come out of that with a point or even a sneaky win the Arsenal game will be rocking. Top 10 isn't impossible by any stretch.

Mondays game is huge for this lot. If they lose they will be back down feeling sorry for themselves. Another win or draw and they have momentum. Might just get themselves out.
