  1. they're threatening to put him on the bench for 6 months if he doesn't sign a new deal now or go now. I know. January is their deadline. Not sure it's Sissokos though, if he even has stated one as has been rumoured. Shouldn't be in any rush for him personally, yet. very little they can do in reality if he decided to sign a pre contract this month If we do actually want him I'm sure it will be after we have secured other targets or if a great deal is in the offing.
  2. No I have learnt my lesson no adding anyone to their FIFA squads.
  3. Got to be at least agent c before I am listening...
  4. Bent is too old for us surely, 29 in two weeks.
  5. Fat Sam takes some beating in tug of war.
  6. London is a big draw, hopefully the amount of compatriots could pull him here.

    Alan Pardew

    Extended his contract..
  8. If he is really available for 3m seems worth a punt. Should bring someone else in aswell though.
  9. Thought gouffran was obertan #2? is he actually decent? Not seen much of him.

    Papiss Cissé

Staff need to grow a pair and talk to him about this offside malarky it is proper ridiculous for a player of his quality. Desperately need another striker to take all the weight of his shoulders.

    Loïc Remy

Yep, would have pobably meant a win for us today. forum would be a completely different place, the hysteria would be replaced by sceptism and light grumblings. Would have also papered over the cracks of mike ashleys Wendy house. Fix the Wendy house? "I told you I will get around to it, I'm just busy it isn't going anywhere."
  12. Not even when he's signed. He actually has to be in our team for a match. That's the level of scepticism we're now at. There is no mention of it being our team there..
  13. To be honest I feel we regained a lot of lost faith, certainly with me under Hughton.. we built a young-ish and hungry squad of player who were certainly not top drawer but played their hearts our and gave their all for this club. I think we have lost that drive and passion from the players for the club. I don't particularly blame the players completely for that. Many new players just don't understand what it is to play for this club and certainly not what it was. Money is what is wrong with football and is the case in every walk of life. Throw money at any situation and people will fight to get it.
  14. ...and they would offer double when they could get him for half why?
  15. And he will tell us where to shove said pole.
  16. Will be off then.. just not here!
  17. Thought he looked class today too, cracking break through the middle and turn of pace in the first half.
  18. What worked best was the fact we passed the ball on the ground and people moved into space to receive passes. This may have been slightly easier due to Reading not closing down as much as other teams we have faced. However the rudimentary skills needed to play football were on show today and we looked far better when we showed we had and could use them. Verdict: no more long ball please.
  19. mainly because the kicks and corners don't actually reach Williamson or even the front post.
  20. I'd have to see it again but I'd not have been surprised to see a red for that. Immediately thought he was off. Surprised, but the ref was shite at best in terms of fouls.
  21. Linked with him in previous windows IIRC.

    Alan Pardew

Which seemingly would make no difference as Pardew with fuck it up with ridiculous tactics and mind boggling substitutions.

    Alan Pardew

We have players capable of getting us points. We don't however have a coaching team that seems to be able to organize, motivate or coach them to get said points.
