  1. Get in! Looking forward to having cheick the destroyer back. Will he back in time for spurs or will he have to stick around or a couple of days with the ivory coast squad?
  2. Back for spurs if Nigeria beat them tmrw?
  3. He's no Pistone but he is getting there.

    Papiss Cissé

Always works hard for the team.. Some shocking Misses though, perplexing player. World beater when he is on Jason Lee infront of goal when he is off.
  5. Perchus did his best today. If Anita was taller he would have been starting today IMO. Good squad player to have and rarely dissapoints despite his limitations.
  6. Run the show in the first half, Moussa took over in the second but what a combo, with Tiotes replacing Perchus that is on formidable midfield. True class.
  7. Wait until Tiote the destroyer returns. Have no doubt with moussa and yohan beside him he will be back to his best.

    Alan Pardew

Loved his passion on the sideline. Congratulations on not playing shola or messing up the subs.
  9. All those moments listed above made a memorable match. Couple of moments of pure skill and intelligence from gouffran and some nice tackling from cabaye. We looked good today. Might just might have turned a corner. Well done team and pardew for not playin shola or messing it up with stupid subs. After seeing gutis celebration I don't think there was anyone else that deserved a goal more.
  10. Missed the Beginning..like to think we would have clapped before kick off then booed the hell out of him after! Don't begrudge anyone for booing though and neither should he. More claps than boos when he went off tbf.
  11. Feel the goals will definitely come with him, for sure. Only just getting started. Yep, very exciting. Complete team player by the looks of things.
  12. Wow seriously impressed by gouffrans work rate, his tracking back was fantastic, great linking up with santon too. Might not have the goalscoring prowess but quicker and more skillfull than ba. Very happy.
  13. Will put mapou and shola on after 60 mins when Chelsea are out of sight. I can understand some rationale with starting Taylor and Jonas ahead of marveaux and mapou. However it is wildly misguided, both had rocky games at best last week and Jonas is so far from on form it is insane. Can't fathom anitas omission though.

    Xisco

End of an era..albeit a nasty one! Wish him well.
  15. The moat loathesome man in football? Certainly in English football. Can't understand how he can blatantly tap players up in public and do it repeatedly without any consequence.
  16. If he is going to make it in the english game farming him back to France wouldn't help. He needs somewhere he will get games in a competetive setting, hopefully this will happen at St johnstone. Maybe i am being too optimistic but you would think the staff would place him into a loan situation which best suits improving his weaknesses.
  17. Interesting caution on the contract length. Glad we might actually be growing and underbelly of young talent for our backline. Mbabu Streete Good Haidara Not to mention tavernier and maybe satka.
  18. Be a belter if QPR still go down. Hope that wages comment of Harrys keeps getting brought up.
  19. Fair play to becks grand gesture from an honest pro.
  20. Why? Tiote has been s**** this season he doesn't deserve to start until he proves otherwise. I agree with that team apart from gouffran. I think marveaux would be better with gouffran coming of the bench. Also i still think tiote is our best dm. He puts a tackle in and should start ahead of anita because anita hasnt got the height and tackling ability tiote has. Depends on who we're playing, I'd play Anita in games we'd expect to dominate - although this season that seems to be none of them Agree with this. Love Anita, like I said think he will be hard done by. Having Sissoko and Cabaye around Tiote is going to ease a lot of pressure from him. I think he will be back to his best very quickly when concentrating on staying deep.
  21. Quote from Saylor, basically quoting this message board after we signed him.. “He’s a machine, he’s an animal. Players are trying to get near him, and he’s just bouncing them off. That’s just what we needed, a big powerhouse." Made all the French lads get up and say why they wanted to join the club.. then sing. Can imagine everyone nervously clapping and laughing at any joke Sissoko made. "just dont make eye contact". http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/newcastle-how-a-sing-song-has-helped-french-1564788

    Alan Pardew

Alan Pardew - The single reason I am still bricking it that we might go down. Given the squad we have it would seem impossible to fail, yet the complete negligence displayed by Pardew makes any positives hard to accept because we are used to his idiocy prizing defeat from the jaws of victory. For the love of everything living let this man leave the club in the summer. Lets hope that is not too late.
  23. Sad but true, Jonas likewise. Not sure what the deal is, did anyone see Pardew with Jonas after...he seemed to be consoling Jonas hugging him tight and whispering sweet nothings into his ear... either Jonas is going through a rough spell off the pitch or he really is Pardews favorite. Looked almost odd to me.. doing that with Colo would have made sense.
  24. Nah. Would be nice to add a striker. We saw what happened when we play Gouffran and Cisse from the start. Bringing on Shola is far worse than unnaceptable. Think we will announce the youngling defender and thats it.
