Alright. He is Lovenkrands without the goals... Nah he will be fine once he settles and gets match fit. Just shy of confidence, obviously, and we absolutely have the staff here to fix that. Just give him the mop and tell him to report to Papiss
-
Easy to miss..Joe thought he was the janitors apprentice... Cisse denied taking him under his wing.
-
Now we are talking.

We'll not. We'll not. Our players, and possibly Pardew, tends to get out players to put out a better performance against bigger clubs. So there is a possibility. I think the club is close to implosion again personally and we are due an absolute destruction, Chelsea could certainly do that to us. Morale is already low, fans are on the brink of turning and there is nothing to play for, it is pretty much a given. Which is probably why we will win. We will probably get something from the Spurs game though.

The majority of fans are idiots who blame Joe Kinnear for all of this. Ashley hiring him has worked perfectly for him in terms of deflecting the blame away. Well Kinnear is not blameless but he is probably 3rd in line. He should get blame for not bringing anyone in.. He has had two strikes (windows) and failed in both. Tbf we should have got far more for Cabaye that is also failure. But he is 3rd in line. Ashley is the long term problem but Pardew is without doubt the short and long term problem and has to go. Preferably all 3 should. I just cant grasp why no-one would want to buy this club..maybe people have tried and Ashley isn't interested? I don't know. Is there any chance of a title change btw? I really hate the idea that someone from the club might stumble upon the board and not immediately see the hatred that 99% of the forum have for Pardew.
-
Surely the pressure will be on after Chelsea thump us, if it isn't now. (From the fans) And yes.. I would gamble the possibility of kinnear taking over rather than keeping Pardew. JFK can't take the job long term and he would at least get our team more focused.

Until the players turn it makes no difference what the fans and media think. We still need to make the club aware he needs to go.
-
He is pathetic and at Souness level of hatred for me now. I used to sympathize because I thought he was at least more likeable than Souness but just talentless. He cclearlh does not give a shit about the fans or the club. I don't understand how there are fans onside, how the media still bums him. To be honest it grates me the thread title doesn't even show the hatred. There surely isn't anyone on here that wouldn't replace him tmrw. Now we are no talking about making the best of a bad situation or better the devil you know. There cannot be anyone that would not like a new manager. Let's face it with nothing left to at for its a great time.
-
Ashley has to go but he is easier to live with than Pardew. There is no excuse for this team not finishing top 8. None. While he will still be hated in quarters, having a manager that can actually manage and have us top 8, go somewhere in a cup and win a derby once a year would suppress Ashley hate. End of the day Ashley has no-one but himself to blame. Pardew is officially Souness league.
-
You would say even pardew couldn't squander our points advantage to finish outside top ten... Fact is loses to Chelsea and spurs with villa winning and they are a point behind, Southampton will overtake us and the order clubs below are picking up points. Oh and that clogged Charlie Adam was everything we were missing today. Running the show against manure.
-
Such a terrific point. Look at what Adam Johnson has started doing under Poyet, after looking like a huge flop after that big move to Sunderland. I don't know why people can't appreciate that this guys struggles are really just further evidence of how bloody awful Alan Pardew is. Yeah but it's not just Poyet (as you know) the good majority of coaches in this league would be better for this club, or would in the least have us playing with passion and style.
-
that would require coaches that could or know how to do that.
-
Bingo. X 100 Gutless, clueless coach with no confidence in his players = gutless, clueless performance with no confidence in ourselves. Go figure.. Then get another hobby to take the edge off because he is here to stay.
-
Same as the rest of our team, can manage some nice build up play but have zero quality in the box or end productwise.
-
Gutless but not garbage.
-
Cisse not even on the bench while this clown starts. Sackable decisions alone.
-
And still a bunch of the Mongs that stop decent fans getting tickets will still sing to him and back him. Nae fucker here does that's for sure. When will the worm fucking turn? He will still be a media darling that has done magic here. When we have got here in spite of his abomination of a management style.
-
Well at least Pardew has never frozen anyone out. Fuck off, take your fucking useless lap dog, yes men coaching team and let someone that knows how to man manage join the club.
-
Absolute joke. one of the only players up for it and looking like getting something.
-
The club is as much as a joke as the so called fans running on the pitch. I wasn't surprised, angry and barely even sad about today. It was a forgone conclusion before the match even started. The horror is we will likely still do enough to get 9th or 10th and cancer #2 pardew will still be here. He can't motivate players, he can't grasp tactics, he is a total liability and as much to blame as Ashley. Ok apathy has worn off now. I'm starting to get furious. You know what, if they can approach the rest of the season as pointless so can we.. I hope there are protests, I hope 50,000 fans turn up every week and sit outside the ground. This club is done until Ashley leaves. He might bide himself time is he grows some balls and fires Pardew and hires someone that could inspire the players, the fans and maybe even himself. He won't though.

Players You Are Pleased We Didn't Sign (in Retrospect)
toontownman replied to MyPalAl's topic in Football
Turan, Modric, Aubermayeng, Zouma, Grenier.. oh no wait a second. Might have said De Jong before we signed him tbh.. Carlton Cole although that can always happen. Jamie Tompkins. -
De Jong = Cisse - woefully lacking confidence, playing minutes.. except at least Cisse has had time to adapt to the league and has scored goals here. De Jong is a complete gamble. Given our previous form coaching players with confidence issues I don't see him staying on past May.
-
no.. All of the above.. option?
-
What an absolute fucking disgrace our coaching staff are. I am sure Cisse is far from blameless as to strip it down it is probably a mental block he needs to work out. However, in a period where we might have just started to create opportunities for our strikers he is afforded no opportunity but judged upon months of being stranded up top with nothing for service. We are clearly incapable of man managing players... Slumps with Cabaye and Tiote were only fixed through luck after at least a seasons worth of poor performances (in Tiotes case) Ben Arfa and Marveaux Obertan - lets be honest he seemed a right off when he came but we certainly destroyed what little confidence he had.
