Summed up I can see why Jose is going, I don't like it or his decision but I can see his thinking. We lack the immediate ambition he wants and Liverpool look like an up and coming prospect, Its the clubs fault he isn't convinced of ours. I think he could do better though. I think we have been lacking pace on the right and he will be a decent alternative to Barton/Taylor (shudder). I don't think Larson would have offered us much different and is pretty slow.

Like to think ubertan is in for routledge and barnetta will be brought in if Barton goes. Would be nice if we just brought barnett in first rather than potentially missing out later and scrambling if Barton goes, it's not as if he couldn't slot into several other positions in the team.

Macheda was the best player on the pitch during the two stateside games I watched. Hardly ready to be first choice but has a decent future IMO. Would be similar to when we brought in rossi IMO except will already have back up. Need a main man.
