  1. Yep. More excited about this than Mapou. Why? Probably b/c this is the last one to get done and it feels fucking phenomenal. We've fucking pillaged the French League and taken the piss out of anyone who considers themselves great dealmen in terms of transfers. Fan fucking tastic work done by our Board for these 5. Ridiculous stuff. I'm just in total fucking shock and joy right now.

Totally agree with all of that.
  3. No, he does have a really good cross. I always thought the same. He absolutely whips those in. If Sissoko signs, I honestly hope we keep Tiote unless we get a big bid from abroad. I'd not want to see him in the PL if I'm honest. Really think we'll see him get back to much better form for all reasons mentioned above. I hope so at least.
  4. We need an epic bump of all the CONFIRMED posts. I'll screen-grab that as one for the memories man. Fantastic week.

How does the ranking status work? Like the criteria for it?
  6. His sheer strength and pace is magnificent. He's quicker, bigger and stronger than most he plays against, but he also has very good technique as well. I used to joke that it was almost unfair to see Yaya Toure just bombing up and down the pitch sort of bossing everything and really wanted a player who could do that for us. Hopefully he signs for us and we've got ourselves that player.
  7. I'd play a midfield of Anita and Cabaye in the centre with Marv pushed up in front of them. With Gouffran, Cisse and Obertan up top. If Sissoko is signed up before, I'd start him from the get go and take off Obertan

    Alan Pardew

Credit to him and whoever was involved in keeping the lid on the Colo fiasco. He done us proud there - now its time to get this team back on track. In classic Newcastle United form, the roller coaster ride is back on the up - renewed optimism from me and I'm really excited again. Madness
  9. @lee_ryder: Moussa Sissoko close to completion. Hopefully an announcement later today. Not much more to say on that for now #nufc
  10. Fantastic stuff, really proud of the way the club went about this. They obviously saw the potential disaster this could hav been. MYM & Colo partnership is just f***ing fantastic. Roll on Tuesday, lets get the season back on track and then bring on Chelsea at home. If we win Tuesday, and Sissoko signs before then. St James will be rocking with the new signings and optimism.
  11. He's a confident one, he seems an excellent leader from all I've read. Fantastic stuff

    Graham Carr

What a man. Brilliant stuff so far. Wish we had him for many years prior.
  13. Never expected us to get the YM deal done. But this, tie between all 3. Q
  14. Why can't Tuesday be sooner. I'm fucking excited. Actually very very excited for Chelsea now.
  15. Not thanking him or giving him praise until the window is closed and we have a clear picture of ins and outs full stop. He's gone up in my estimation so far by sanctioning these outlays. I'll give DL's deal team and Carr's scouting team (whoever they are in both areas) huge praise for the job they are doing so far.
  16. Just checking in while on the road..... Speechless. This is incredible.
  17. Yes, absolute madness that we've pulled this off. Credit to the deal makers for this one.
  18. 2pac lyrics from the grave  100% worthy of its own thread over in Chat tbh. Get it started, i could talk Chappelle Show forever. Was and still is one of my favorites of all time. "2Pac Rest in Peace" - I wiiiiiiilllll!
  19. Diaby Sissoko , sorry man there is no comparison to make , when Diaby is fit , he's up there with Yaya Touré and Busquets And Sissoko's gotten the plaudits as well. He's the future anchor of the French midfield. Hard to put Diaby in that conversation, he hasn't been a force for several seasons. And even at full health I don't think he's on the same level as Yaya or Busquets. Excellent analysis Mole Diaby even relevant anymore? Hasn't he been bugged with injury? Busquets is more a holding player vs an all action no? Sissoko is your Viera, Yaya, Diame mould of player. Each to a varying degree of holding, scoring, brute force and drive. Sissoko can go on and be that Yaya or Viera for us if he can continue to develop.
  20. I think he's a quality keeper tbh. Performed well at Norwich on loan a few years back (in L1 to be fair). Expect him to be back in the PL before long though. He just didn't want to sit on our bench right? Or did Pards flog him for his howlers in pre season? Doesn't help he's the same age as Krul too. Hope we get a keeper in who's still developing like when we signed Tim and he worked his way into our squad.
