Genuinely wild to me that Norwich, Brentford, Watford and Man United at home could have been wins and we’d be talking +8 to that.
-
Howe has the plan, long may it continue.

I absolutely love this bloke. He’s truly an incredible man and manager. I want us to be a force with him in charge.
-
Should have scored today but was encouraged to see he finally was getting on the end of chances.

No brainer to expand and modernize the place.
-
The ROI on a stadium expansion would take ages, but if they expanded and sold the club in 10 years they’d get a fantastic multiple on that investment. You do infrastructure improvements to increase the enterprise value of the business on valuation on exit. Expanding the stadium and modernizing is 100% the way to go.

There’s literally nothing embarrassing about the Emery thing. His entourage was in town waiting for him to come. The whole thing was arranged and he turned back on whatever agreement he made. It happens. It’s life. You don’t think the transfer rumors aren’t being leaked at most major clubs? Again, we’re a big draw now and agents are now throwing our name everywhere. it’s ok, we will need to get used to the new normal that is our club. Long may the ambition continue.

There’s not a thing wrong with anything they’ve said and other directors or managers have talked about other players not singed too. These owners are smarter than people think, it’s part marketing too to show the ambition. Keep talking like they do, it’s what we all want to hear deep down. It doesn’t bind anything either - the only thing that’s binding is a contract.

Brazilian trio of Paqueta, Bruno G and Joelinton. Yes please.
-
They’re now pals
-
Honestly could see them signing more. It probably really depends on who’s willing to come and how they handle sales. I could see several sales and several mutual terminations of contracts to shift these guys.
-
Hope we’re mathematically safe before then too, I’d like a stress free end to our season

Get rid of the ones who never ever see the pitch
-
Would rather see him retire and be a coach in the lower setup. Rafa mentioned multiple times he seems Paul going into management because he's a really good footbal mind. Hating him @HUGZ is so harsh . You and @Optimistic Nut should be high fiving that post.

There was no real good reason to dismantle the team, despite selling Sir Les for "PLC" reasons i think all of that was a load of bullshit. Tommason was a good signing and should have been properly groomed under Big Al and/or Sir Les. Ginola should never have been sold for any good reason either and Dalglish for all of his credentials should have known better. I blame Kenny a lot - because he came in with a phenomenal resume and did fuck all with those credentials.
-
That's wild, never knew you could see that far beyond the Toon from that vantage point and have some mountains to look at
-
So that photo is supposedly showing hills 50 miles north of the stadium and the photo was taken few miles south of SJP?
-
LB, add Grimaldo and Gaya to the list

An up & coming CB being courted by Maldini to play for Milan is tough prospect to turn down.
-
Those through balls will be perfect for Maxi
-
I see him eventually replacing Shelvey in the team as the deep playmaker and tempo setting midfielder. Willock and Joelinton are different types of players and their individual attributes and contributions are far too critical to be replaced by Bruno G.
-
Ideally as we upgrade the quality of our first team playing squad, you’d want Elliott breaking into the first team where we are on the up and not fighting for survival.
-
Actually bummed about the arena site now appearing off the table then. Whilst the development of those homes along the river would be excellent - a new stadium and other club sponsored amenities along the river would be the most ideal place to move if we had to move from the current site to expand.
-
We basically needed this version of Willock all season - one who can carry the team forward with or without Maxi; one who can press and keep things ticking and get the goal. He’s better in the attack than Joelinton and of our midfield 3 we’ll need him to do that. I suspect he’s better goal scorer than Bruno G too. Different players really. Sky’s the limit for Willock if he can stay fit and get into form again.

think the bond we see between Mehrdad/Amanda and Jamie is pretty special. Their little posts on social media are great stuff
