Seems like MA is going absolutely all-in on this. If the league don't settle and they lose this, this is going to cost them SO fucking much - and they'll need help from the "member clubs" to pay MA, an outgoing owner.

The NUFC deal is the best way to deploy the most amount of capital and partner with local (PCP, RB) partners who could provide additional synergies locally and abroad. The PIF will want to see this through, assuming the league will allow them. In any case, they'd still have to pass the arbitration issue either via MA or with someone else to make this happen.
